OK i created a Christmas Test Tourney with structure that i think we could use in our Official Christmas BRM home game $0.11 buy-in, 2 add-ons & 1 rebuy for the 1st hour. 3000 starting stack, 10 min blinds, top 20% paid this one is gonna be play money tourney, just to get a feel if the structure is right, would like to hear any comments, suggestions- i think that 3K stack would be a hepl to blind out sitting out's (if there will be any) & 10 min blinds would allow a little bit more comfort. anyways join if you want to experience this for yourself- it's on this friday at 19.00 gmt

double up- withdraw- upload to pokerstars- use for buyin & donation.
if it's "restricted" (bonus dollars, ndb etc.)- find brm'er who has $ in account and lose hu sng to him (carefully, so he doesn't get banned)- then he withdraws- uploads to stars- given $4 donation- sends $0.50 to you.

The structure was okay, I think; maybe the blinds were a bit slow; 2 people sitting out finished 5th and 6th.
The blinds were still very low at HU time; which would have gone on a bit if Stephan would not have lost patience...

thanks for your reply marqis: there are a few thing to consider- sitting outs last only 15-20 min longer than the rebuy & addon period, so in real tourney i doubt that they will have any chance of beating playing players. plus we will have more players (i believe so) & less sitting outs (due to the fact that there is something to play for), and the fact that people will have to buyin with real cash is gonna help to reduce the number of sitting outs.
now getting back to yesterdays tourney- sitting outs finished high because the there majority of them, and too little playing players. blinds at hu where low because hu happened way to quick compared to what you will see in real tourney. so i think we are good with the structure. thanks for taking part in the test tourney Thumbs Up

hey, I tried to join Home Games (I finally found it Smile ) to "The Rigged Place" club or any other which could be from bankrollmob, but I couldnt find this club there. There was only some 3 clubs like SCOOP or WSOP... Am I just a blind or it isnt there now? Smile

Hey Weenie, here's how to join our club:

- Open the main poker lobby, then click on the Home Games tab
- Click the 'Join a Poker Club' button
- Enter Club ID number: 671258
- Enter Invitation Code: pokerisrigged

those clubs you see (scoop, wsop etc.) are publicly visible, however you cannot see most of the clubs before you apply for it & get approved. so no worries that you do not see "The Rigged Place"- just follow instructions & you'll be fine.

You can watch this video which has visual info on how to join home games club (watch from 7.25 min- in your case you need just first 10 seconds or so)- when the table pops up just type in the info i gave you above

Hey.

First off, I love the idea of private turneys, might free us from the donks. (Joined too)

Second thing, while I was reading the christmass turney I saw a suggestion that you should run it twice, 12 hours in between, the answer being that people wouldn't join.

So the question that popped to my mind, as to find out how many would actually play the turneys at given times would be to set up a couple of 2 cent buy in turneys, plus it would offer mobsters a way to spend their freeroll winnings.

Whatcha think?

glad you joined- yeah you won't find donks in our private tourneys- people play real solid poker there, at least i enjoy the action.

well the answer was not that people wouldn't join, i think that the amount of players in those two different tourneys would differ a lot. with the christmas tourney being held at 20.00 gmt- this covers europe & the south/north america...and everything in between. so the next proposed tourney would only cater to australia and asia i think. and we do not have that many aussies around (though we do have very active one Big Smile) and guys from asia- yeah there are a few, but they are generally interested in freerolls, so i thought that sticking with one tourney was the better solution.

even bigger issue would be splitting the prizepool. there is no way to do it "fairly"- if we split in half we might see that 1st tourney attracts way bigger crowd, so less players will be paid, meanwhile in the second tourney majority of players are itm almost automatically....if we go for different prizepool- how different should it be?

so after considering those statements above, i decided to go for one tourney, yeah i know it's a pity that some brm'ers can't join the tourney due to poor time, but we have tried to do everything to satisfy the majority of the players imo.

min buyin for home game tourneys is $0.11. if you want to try anything a play money tournament can also be set-up.
since you are from slovenia, this is not a big issue to you, but if there are guys who want to play home games in our club time at different time, i think all they have to do is just ask. i can set up the tourney in no time.
nice to see that you care for community Shooshly Thumbs Up see you at the tables Worship

Point made and understood. But I unno, a 50/50 split seems fair Tongue although, there is one christmass ... maybe we can do a newyears too Tongue

exactly- i liked your point: there is one christmas, so we are gonna have one tourney- case closed Big Smile
regarding new years tourney- well they aren't that distant from each other, so i guess we can only do a regular buyin tourney, without the sponsorships & extra support from brm- though i'm not sure a lot of brm'ers would be interested in that...

@Weenie- lool Big Smile that was funny enough Thumbs Up if you do receive the "joining fee", don't forget me, i guess a 50/50 will be fair.
@GoTrixo - i consider this amount not bad beats, but "investment. and besides if you do pay the "joining fee", as a manager of the club i add you an extra button "See Hole Cards"- which you can use anyway you like (only at home games club)

it seems that the action had dried up a bit at the rigged place, not sure if micro millions had anything to do with this or people just got bored- maybe you have any ideas, suggestions, maybe you wish some tourney to be organized? shootout, knockout? maybe some rarer poker form: hi/lo games, draw etc.
