Live poker dealer's....  0
Hey guy's, what about the idea of poker sites introducing online poker rooms witch would have a real live dealer playing out hands while being recorded on internet, connected to the poker site, witch then be connected to the specific room, I think this would be a great option and would attract alot more online players, just knowing it is 100% random card dealing by a real human with real cards on camra, unlike a computer generated system, witch they say is random but in my opinion is not, Thanks for reading Big Smile

well i guess it would be fun- probably it should be offered on some tables, as an alternative for those who would like this idea/ some change etc. surely this has to be done by a big operator to attract any interest (like stars/full tilt) 888poker has an option to play with cams on on some tables, not sure this is popular, but still a nice initiative

I personaly think its a great idea but it wil be to slow for most online players.
Maybe for high rolers who play for big money on 2 tables maybe..
But i dont think this will happen in the near future.

I think RNG's are more random than live dealers..
Just my opinion..
Nice idea however kinda like live dealer casino rooms..

Really don't think any romm will be introducing this options... they should pay the dealer... and that will require more rake... 70% for platform and 30% for dealer... i think this will be the deal between poker room and dealer... if you want to play live you should go on the casino and play there with real people and real dealer... there they can do collusion too ... don't worry Big Smile

Pretty interesting idea if you ask me, this way all those people that think that the poker software is corrupt could try it out...

As specified in a post above 888 poker has the technology to use pc cams and could make this work pretty fast Smile

The real problem with doing this would be the costs to operate such a site. Also, without one actually being presnt how would one view cards and make calls. there would have to be some type of digital / electronic assistance in order for it to be legit. Not sayin it wouldn't be interesting, but there'd be several bugs to workout besides players possibly requiring their own video imaging hardware & software.
Your a young thinker though! Don't srtop being.

RNG is by FAR more random than a live dealer. No question.

I think this idea is completely silly for two reasons

A) Obviously it is completely infeasible - how could a room such as Poker Stars with 100,000+ online possibly support live deals for every hand.

b) What on earth makes you think it would be any less likely to be rigged? It's not very hard to fix a deck of cards you know!

------------
Also - there was a poker room not long ago "Real Deal Poker" I think it was called. It used real deals, didn't have a human dealer though, but you could watch the video of a real mechanical deal.

I played there for a little bit before the whole site went under - there were actually more rigtards at that site than at regular sites. Not surprising really; since it deliberately attracted rigtards.

The reality is people that think online poker is rigged are simply losing players (by far the vast majority of rigtards are losers, by FAR).

So any site the deliberately attracts losing players / rigtards is going to quickly be accused of being rigged. Even if they use live-human dealers - the rigtards will discover they're STILL losing players and start complaining about this site.

Fact is rigtards are just lazy/incompetent/stupid poker players. Rather than spending time on learning the game and studying it, going over hand histories and getting better - they rather assume that they're fantastic players that are only losing because the software is fixed against them. Reality is online poker is INCREDIBLY difficult to beat these days and not many people will and those that do will beat it because they're focused on doing so and willing to learn and grow as a player.

Rigtards are going to complain about poker being rigged regardless of where they play and how the cards are dealt - so long as they continue to lose at poker they'll continue to believe it's a fix. It's easy than accepting they're s**t at poker.

Hi man, I read your post and find it interesting, and correct in my opinion, Because that was me when I first started playing poker a few years ago, I thought I knew everything and no body could tell me anything about poker, then I started losing online and was saying the game was rigged, I was a rigtard lol, But that was a few years ago, and iv grown up a littlebit, and have done my homework, and came to my own conclusion my biggest problem was bankroll management, specifically cash games. I am a great tourney and mtt player, But usally ill build my roll up, not follow bankrolll managent and go buts in a cash game, But I am talking a few years back. I haven not really play'd online at all since blackfriday, But I wish to resume online play in the coming weeks with a new attitude and also strategy, also would be nice for a lil lady luck Cool

------------
And yes I did already know, casino's usually use ''pre shuffled deck's"
thanks for pointing that out, good info for mob community

haha that is exactly like me Smile Ultimately I've withdrawn more than I've deposited, which is great; but I've definitely donked off quite a few "decent" rolls playing cash above my limit! If I could take back every drunken cash-game session .. well..I'd be rich.

Bankroll management has always been my greatest downfall too. Thumbs Up

I have also by far have won more then lost, in online and also live play, iv built thousand dollar rolls up from $25 deposits and have withdraw far more than have deposited, problem is when I withdraw my money, I use to go a lil crazy on the cash tables with my profits, the point is here to be a long term winning poker player you really gotta know your limits, set your limits, and follow them religiously in my books

Live dealers work for blackjack like on partypoker, but I don't think it would work very well for holdem, since your first two cards are dealt down, you can't pick them up, so they would have to be put on a window with a camera, there would also have to be a camera for the community cards, so i don't think this would work.
