Very simple actually , when you see 4 people before you going all in you tend to fold hands like A K
4 people using their brains or 4 donks clicking buttons? I can understand why you would fold AK 3-4 way but you said you folded a couple of AK's and AQ's. And you're saying that like it's a good thing... It would be a good thing if it was good lay downs, but most of them probably weren't.
Besides, if you lose the hand, you lose nothing because the BI is nothing and you can try again later, and if you win with the best hand, you actually have some fun and might build yourself a big stack and win some money. You know people will shove any suited ace or A8+ basicly (or any 2 actually), so why fold AK? You know only KK and AA really put you in trouble, right?
If this wasn't a freeroll I wouldn't be saying that of course. Being able to fold these hands pre flop in the right situations is very important to win MTTs.

Yeah I understand your point , and I wouldn't have folded so many hands in normal situations , I would normally fold such a hand if I have a good read on the opposing players , and many other variables involved , but the problem is that I am currently broke , and I really wanted to do good in the freeroll to earn some $ ( want to play the micromillions so badly ) , so influenced by this fact , my game was affected , guess I was playing scared.... and it all went down the drain , finished in 289 for 0.98 $ , which for me is terrible...

You know some want to reach first places fast, like if it wasn’t worth to give it a try if the first hands aren’t good. Some are just dumb, others don’t really know the game, and there are still others who play poker for a long time that keep thinking that freeroll is a game with less value, no matter the amount of prizes involved. What can you say? I think you said it all: donk fest. But knowing how to deal with it is being among the best, with the chance to win big.
