wait a sec.- did i read it right, half of guarantee has not been reached, 75K will be paid from the pocket of organizers? well you do not see this very often. something has been done very poorly to end up in such situation- and guarantee is only 150K, thats not super for even online event...hey probably admin is playing the tourney, since it's in Malta, and offers a banger for the buck...

Daniel "Jungleman" Cates going for a €500 buy-in tourney? What for? Was he on vacations in Malta and was tired of the rain and decided to went to this action? It doesn’t make much sense. I hear some friends I have who play almost like pros and they always opt not to play with his friends because they consider they would be taking the risk of de-learning, and this fits exactly in the risk Daniel "Jungleman" Cates is running for entering a tourney like this. Even if he was invited, the risk is still big.

I also wonder why Cates is playing tournaments with such a low buy in?

Especially now when full tilt poker is on again and he basically can have acces to all his cash which from what it has been rumored were over 1 mil.

Very strange tournament... low buy-in, low guarantee... and even this female poker pro isn't very pretty...
