isner djokovic paris

Djokovic 2-1 result

This is ATP Paris, BNP Paribas Masters, round 3 and we have a solid match to watch between Djokovic and Isner!
None of their matches has been easy for Djokovic and I expect him to have problems again!
Isner is going to play well, he always did, last time he won 2-1 in Cincinnati!
Djokovic played poor with Herbert, even though he has come through and maybe will come through also in this one!
Isner is not at 100% value which might be enough to get a set, but not to win this!
Isner is well known for being very solid on tie breaks and I guess he can come through in a set like that!
He leads 3-2 in tie breaks, by the way, they have played 5 tie breaks in 5 matches!
Overall Djokovic leads 3-2, in last 2 years Isner leading 2-1!
Expect therefore a 2-1 for Isner!

Rafael Nadal vs Richard Gasquet

Nadal (-3.5) handicap games at odds 1.72

Paris Masters, QF

In my opinion 1.72 are very decent odds at least for this -3.5 handicap line. If these are the odds for -4 then I would think twice whether there is any value in them. But this way, this is nice value, there is no doubt about that.
I also think that bookies still have in their minds last season tournament here when all top players have played far below from what they really can. Somehow this is expected since this is a period after final Grand Slam in the year when all top players probably takes more longer rest. And this is also time when much more important tournament will follow - Top 8 Masters.
But this season seems like top players put more or better to say much more effort then it was the case in 2012

Rafael Nadal vs David Ferrer

Over 2.50 sets to win at odds 4.01

ATP PARIS, SEMIS, INDOOR HARD

Rafael Nadal (ESP/#1) should not have such an easy time against David Ferrer (ESP/#3).

Rafael Nadal is coming off three straight set wins in Paris. However, he managed to cover the handicap only in his most recent game against Gasquet. David Ferrer on the other hand managed to win only once in straight sets, but had a tough schedule featuring Rosol, Simon and Berdych.
Nadal clearly leads the h2h over Ferrer, however, on hard court David had some words to say.
Overall I expect a close game, with Ferrer being at least once close to win a set.
That being said, I think that at least one bet comes through, which gives us at least small profit, which is never bad.

My bets:

Over 2.50 sets 4.01 5/10
David Ferrer +4.5 to win at odds 2.20 5/10
