I dont think you played that one wrong. when you didnt raise before flop you managed to maximaze your winnings.

Well since you hit your trip on the flop, but in my experience 9 out of 10 times raising at least a bit before flop with KK is a good move. Hate to play that hand only for someone to show two crap pairs and winning the pot just because he found it cheap to see the flop.
