It looks crappy from the beginning, and probably its a fake one. Only watched a few mins. I looked over the net for such a video from National Geographic and couldnt find a thing If you find this video in the official National Geographic site, then post the link

Good day everyone I have watched this and another one similar like this called poker life short documentary .... they may be of some sort of real story and incidents which have taken place but i will not accept that the people , the places they have shot are not real !! coz no underground room will let their business to ruin as of i know so it could be places where people used to play which are shut a long time or even a studio setup of real incidents !!!! no sarcasm involved here its my point of view thats it

Well i just watched the video links and i gotta say what a load of crap. I do know guys who run underground poker games and they would NEVER allow anyone near them with a camera or camcorder. Nobody in this situation would mates. The people involved would NEVER allow themselves to be filmed committing a felony which could land them in jail. Come on who these jokers trying to snow. Thay are trying to look tough and bad arse, but seriously dude come on. Do you really think they would be so stupid. I do not think so. It was a cute production nothing more,

Checked the new link you gave and it does actually redirects to a National Geographic site, but i still think the whole video is a fake one, and the main reason is what been said above.

I don't think this the vid is fake and I know what used to take place in this little town I live in at a place called Max's. This is probably minor compared to what goes on underground with poker or street fighting. There's just to many people that want to gamble on everything from dog fights, cards, sports, chicken fights, etc. You name it!
I watched over half of it and it's above or to risky for my blood.
