I have tossed all my poker books into the fire. they are useless, because if I played like they say too play, I would never get a worth while hand too play and forget about trying too play the table because people are shoving all in 4/2,2/2 and other suicide hands and crushing the table, and what makes me upset the most is no matter how you play the cards they always geive you a bumm shake. .
oh well I stink at poker and its been proven time and time again,maybe I should just take my money and throw it into the fire as well, at least I'll be able too warm my house up...
but I will say this 2013 will be the year that defines my skills as a poker player(totaly sucky)....LOL

Hi Franky.............Don't despair, just have a few days off and I'm sure it will change. Perserverance is the thing...........you need to keep trying. There are plenty of donks out there and be sure we have all met loads in our time, (and truth be known made some donk plays as well)
I think you should read some of the Donk threads in this forum and have a laugh at them, this should cheer you up. Trust me it is NOT only you!!!!!

One thing I think that's very important when it comes to lessons learned from reading poker books. You have to realize that most of these books are written to or for live action play. There's not a book out there that I've read which pertains solely to online poker.
To write a book that would reflect the practices required to achieve good results on playing electronic / online poker would require some real diversity. There are so many variances in the way players are online versus live play it's hard to think that these books are effective support tools. That's just a personal opinion which isn't all that much coming from me so don't think I'm knocking the information that poker books offer. I believe they're a great support tool for live play.

Many people say that poker is 95% skills and 5% luck.Maybe it is true,but... Have you ever seen the same person won few times in a row some big tourneys like sunday million The internal feeling---maybe it plays not the last role
