I was reading someones post the other day (can't remember which one now) and they posted their poker nickname and commented on how crap it was or something like that. So it got me thinking about if anyone signed up to a site and instantly regretted their choice of nickname?
Mine is the one i signed up to Titan poker with. i couldn't get a variation of bullettooth and couldn't think of any other so i went with FOLDiHAVEit Consequently i never "had it" and went broke pretty quickly

G'day Amigo
I played a guy with the ni name "imamastabaitr" I was laughing at him and razed him hard at the table for over an hour then he finally had enough and asked me what was wrong with his name. He said he loved to set traps and bait players into them so I explained to him what a master baiter usually meant in English. He got very quite and left soon after from the table. everyone was giving him a hard time. It was funny as hell.

I swear to you it is a true story. I am sorry I can not remember exactly where he was from but I know English was not his primary language It was funny.

I have seen a lot of strange ones, but the one that has always stuck in my mind is this guy at my table at Pokerstars a few years ago. I guess he was passing stones or something when he chose his nick: myPPhurtz
Every time that the dealer had to prompt him to act it made me laugh because it would read something like this:
Dealer: myPPhurtz you have 10 seconds to make your decision

Now that you talk about that, I don’t remember of winning on the accounts I’m registered as GoodWill27, as it always seems that when I have good hands, something runs bad and I happen not to be paid for them. My idea was to provoke some kind of bad feeling on my opponents, and their good hands would be the ones that turned into bad hands when playing with me, but looks like it works on the other side. Can this be a curse? I’m not supersticious, but we are already two talking about the same experiences…

...ahahahahAHAAHHAHAHAHAAAahahahaaaaaaa.....
That reminded me of a skit on Saturday Night Live where the head of the U.S. Homeland Security (played by Robert D'Niro) was announcing various Arab terrorists to be on the lookout for after the 9/11 thing...
The terrorists' names were:
Hous Bin Farteen
and his cousin, I-Bin Farteen...
others on the list were:
Haid D'Salami
M'Balz Es-Hari
Graabir Boubi
I-Zheet M'Drurz
Shaif Hirboush
Awan Afuqya
Al-Suk Akweer
and some of my favorites.....:
Yul Strokeet Al-Wauch Apul M-Deek
THIS guy with 3 aliases: Yuliqa M'Diq, Uwana M'Diq,...and Usuqa M'Diq

womensright_lol. I assume this user doesn't celebrate international women's day today
------------ I think it's better not to go for nicknames that describes poker play. Go for something original. I also had a nickname once "chasingdraws". Psychologically it made me really chase draws too much and besided I got unlucky a lot. Also don't go for ridiculous poker nicknames like those mentioned, because maybe u'll get famous with poker
My nickname on table is usually drlrz. It doesn't read very well but every letter is an initial for my family.
