The World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic came to an end just a few hours ago. Paul "Paulgees81" Volpe, a well-known online pro, brought the largest stack to the final table and Paul Klann was ranked second (about 800,000 less chips than Volpe) when the final table kicked off.

Paul versus Paul, Paul won. Volpe may have regreted a bit for not having made na agreement when they got to the final heads up, but with na advantage of 2 to 1 like he had at that time, i wouldn’t also think about agreements. The truth is things turned upside down for him, like it can always happen. The thrill wouldn’t be the same if an agreement has been made between them. But the prize money is a big difference.

It took a total of 35 levels, but this year's WPT L.A. Poker Classic finally came to a conclusion After welcoming 517 players to the Commerce Casino, the organisers eventually handed Paul Klann the winner's trophy ( and 1 million dollars) after a tough final table.

In Portugal, big prizes (don’t know what value is already considered big) won from lotteries are taxed with 20%, directly to the account of the government. But I don’t know how it works in what concerns with casino gaming.
