Given my recent thoughts about how expensive rake is in micro level cash games, I decided to investigate if there is much difference between the various sites I play on.
It seems I've chosen the worst site as Full Tilt charges 6.66% rake at the stakes I play. Party charges 5%, and Pokerstars is best with only 3.5%
Am I missing something, or is Full Tilt overcharging by quite a bit...?
Feel free to add other sites to this thread (preferably with a link), so we can compare.
Also, are we getting our money's worth? The software is not that complicated to build IMO, but even at the lowest levels, where I'm at, I'm paying about $15 per month in rake.
$180 per year is more than I would pay for the use of such software normally; it's just that you never make a conscious decision to spend that kind of money on a piece of software/service, because of the hidden nature of rake... Most of you probably spend many times more, because of higher stakes or more volume...
Why are there no competitors undercutting these rates? I've got half a mind to spend a year developing some software, and charging only 1% rake...

what about rakeback??? can we get it still??? because that's the main issue passing my mind for couple of weeks now...
i want rakeback...and that's what i will try to get or just stop playing at sites which do not give that...
it seems there's a possible 74% rakebackdeal with pokerstars...only don't know if i can still get it.. if not i think i have to get a new identity ,gotta email the CIA i guess ..ask if they can give me a new identity to play onlinepoker ,muhahahaaa
well, there might be another solution to this ,but it sucks ...once you've registered without such rakebackdeal your doomed to lose while other get it...kind of discriminative.

Stars have to get their three hundred and odd million dollars back somehow lol.
I tell you what, if you did come up with your own poker platform i would play there for sure. You need to start grinding a bit more tho so you can afford the gaming license.

Believe it or not ,,my playvolume has dropped to a minimum....lost most fun in playing poker...
i won a 4500 player MTT tournament this year ..the only one for last 6 months and guess what...
it was a 0.10ct buy-inn... f**k me,i played this 0,10cts tourney once in my live ,then i win it...GRRRRR
so for 0,10cts i become first and all others i get knocked out at bubble or just before the final table...
is this bad luck or what??? you might think i'm just not good enough..
and yes. i agree i should not have played the 0,10ct buy-inn..to avoid this nonsense, but i had just lost my bankroll at stars in a very cruel way ,bad beat after bad beat...
could not accept ending that session without any money on my account and thought i play untill bankroll is zero...or win some back..
the most weird thing is ..all my deep runs ,where i sucked out ,was with Q-Q ,A-K and even A-A
opponent hits..quads..sets...straights.
and every tournament i played over 20$ i sucked out the first hand each and evey time..
last month,,entered a 75$ buy-inn...also first hand i play (A-Ks) pokerstars random generator decides to put me out of the game..
so i am pissed....about all this crap and the fact that some get a rakebackdeal and others don't.

I am wondering if someone received rakeback from popolar sites like Pokerstars already, any mobster????
In a couple of days my poker career will rise again because I'm gonna turn 'legal' in my country and continue to play on Pokerstars again.
I want to get as many value as possible for the deposit there and hope they are gonna recognize my deposit as a first deposit.
One of the advantages will be the 20 euro extra if you deposit 20 euro, 100 k privilege freerolls, first deposit bonus and maybe rakeback? Rakeback is for me the most important, getting x amount of money extra every once in a while. Someone with experience and info about it? cheers
