So I'm playing in the early $1.10 game on PS,...doing rather well throughout the tourney...
No BIG hands,....but enough middle of the road stuff to keep me in a good stack.
It's coming down to the bubble,...I have about $3,000 in chips.
Cards get dealt,....I get KK.
Bittersweet.... 10 away from the bubble and I'm remembering times THIS close with AA or KK in the past,....only to have dead Kowboys (or Aces) laying all over the place.....lol... and getting knocked out 1 or 2 or 3 short of the cash....
I WANT to shove,....but suddenly realized,..."Hey,....I've got 90 seconds on the clock Maybe I can let it run,...Hopefully I'll get TO the bubble,...THEN shove....
Strategy works out. I make the bubble with a few seconds left,....

lmfao you do get into some strange situations...nice quads followed by connection failure. well on the other hand you can be happy that you didn't get disconnected when you had quads so since this is in poker strategy section i presume your strategy is called "how to get disconnected at the right time"

...one might think so,...but no...
...the unorthodox strategy here was to 'USE' the time up allotted. Folks don't like sitting there for 90 seconds WAITING for some 'DONK' to make his bloody mind up,... lol...
I figured at LEAST if I shoved and got massacred,...I'd be in the money anyhow...BUT,....as you can see,....
...Incidently,....a few hands later,....I got dealt JJ. JJ makes me squirm,...but I was rattled from the disconnection thing,...so I shoved THEM,...and consequently picked up a consolation of a few thousand more chips...
I'm wondering if PS would shoot me a token gesture of some VPPs or game tickets or something in this case... Anybody know?
Maybe I can let it run,...Hopefully I'll get TO the bubble,...THEN shove....
