well as this is a landmark number for me i didn't want to use just replying to someone elses thread.
what i did want to say though is why do people call with A-rag,and by that i hope i'm right in saying
A-2 through to A-8. i mean the number of times i've seen people call or go all- in from any position is just plain ridiculous. And then most times they hit their ace,c'mon.
is it just me or is A -4 the new A-A ?

Congrats on your 1000th....!!!

Ya, Ace rag is a VERY popular hand to shove with amongst folks,....and the further east you go in Europe,...the MORE popular it seems to get...

Some folks think that the whole game of poker revolves around Aces....

I usually will fold anything A 9 and under..

I don't even really like playing A 10 or A J, except that you might get an A high straight...

I will though play a suited Ace more often depending on the circumstance at the table... Smile

Congrats on ur 1000rh post, at least it is a post with some relevance lol..

I hate rag A and more often than not I have git knocked out by it...but I have also played it quite a few times myself, I pick when I play and whom I play ur against. It makes all the difference than some raghead playin it just because he can't lay down an A Aww crap!

But again congrats.

Ps, I'm a few posts off $50 Big Smile

First of all congratz on ur 1000th post...nice milestone ( did U get a medal by BRM?? as I think U deserve one) second of all I understand what u mean with the ace with a low kicker, as I see that a lot aswell....but I can tell U now that that aint the new AA.......The International organisation of Donkeys with his main office in Russia decided during there anual meeting that 9 6 is the new pocket rockets. The tip the gave to their members after deciding this was to call anything and any amount with 9 6 and as most Russians are good in following orders they all do these days......

Wish U the best of luck beating those poor hands and hope to read another 1000 post of U.

fcuk wasted my 3000th post...it was meant for great things in life, but i believe it ended up in the region of unshaved balls Disagree
congrats teddybears for a stylish celebration Thumbs Up 1000 posts is quite an achievement - there is a rumor floating in the forum that BankrollMob is gonna open BRM Walk of Fame - only those who have 1000+ posts gonna leave their mark there...

Congratulations on your 1000th post mate.

Now back to your original quesition that you also posted i tend to give you right, but the difference is that in my case most of all go all in with A7 lol

I guess the new gen of gamblers now think A2 is enough/better for the job Smile

Well done TeddyBears on your 1000th post....May it long bring you happiness in the way of MobPoints and money with which you may continue to grow your BankRoll. Will keep an eye out for you at PS and Ballpoker, at both of which you seem to be doing quite well!

In fact, I have just realised that this is my 1004th post here at BRM.......... spookily, having read Pochui and Bullettooth above, note that my 1000th post was indeed about BOOBS on the Melons Spot.

Its a FullTIT day all round.
