Hello readers. today i have made a vow: i will never play again in my life on pokerstars. first of all, they don't have rake there. second and most outrageous: they really allow RACISM there. i have been playing on pokerstars since 2010 and i have been a victim countless times. the "problem", the BIG "problem" is that i am a Romanian. yes, indeed it is a problem nowadays. players from all the countries in Europe called me "GIPSY"! why? every country in the world have gipsyes, Italy, beautiful U.K., U.S.A., France, Germany, and many other countries. but they are not romanian gipsy, are their own. born and raised there. A ROMANIAN IS NOT A GIPSY!!!! please understand this. why i am so upset beeing called a gipsy?! because i am NOT! i am not a turkish, i am not a chinese, i am not a martian, i am romanian! let me ask you another thing, please! WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A GIPSY?! it is worse than beeing a gay? it is worse than beeing a raper? it is worse than beeing a killer or a thief? Poker, beautiful poker is a sport, is a culture, it's even a science. i love this game, it's part of my life. how are we advertising poker by allowing racism on the platforms and punishing the provoked players?! were can we play in peace?! pokerstars is one of the biggest platform in the world and one of the dirtyest in the world. for 3 years they have changed NOTHING there. why?! because there are unqualified moderators who doesn't understand what does it mean to be a Human. they punish words like: gay, stupid, even donkey! LOL )) but they never punish a players that's calling a romanian GIPSY! do you all know who are thegipsyes? what are they, from where are they coming, the history? it is very barbarian to curse an entire country because of some "specimens"! and after all, a gipsy is not a human beeing?! yes my friends, on pokerstars you are beeing punish for defending yourself and the racist idiots are not. i could bet that at least 80% of you readers have been through the same problem, beeing cursed and attacked unfair and justice didn't came. i would very much appreciate any kind of comment here. and i swear, the first one who can demonstrate that romanian are gipsyes, i will reward him with 1000 $. from this day on, i will never play again on pokerstars, it hurts too much. there are so many other nice platforms in the world with better offers, rake, tournaments, equall treatment and many other things.. i appologize any gipsy who read this post and felt hurt, i was talking about the racist on pokerstars, not about the gipsyes. a true moderator on a platform should have brain in his head and common sense.

first of all im 100% agree with u (good initiative),a good threat but man...u can blame the platform now,not all moderators are fair or the same ,u MUST DISABLE chat on that TARD cuz hes a garbage that u don t need 2 leassen .If u act nervous u give them satisfaction (that don t desrve) u must stay focus on u re game & ull be just fine .Those who make rasial injuries are no more then frustrate garbages >don t need 2 lose u re time with them

the thing is that: i`ve played yesterday a only romanian tournament and i was sad to see that most of the players started to insult everybody because he lost a hand or all the chips... i had that problem in the past where i was called a gipsy... but after yesterday i started thinking there is a reason why we are called gipsys because we cant respect ourselfs romanians and we want respect from other countrys. the thing that i`m trying to say is that some of us we deserve that because lots of romanians are badmannered and jerks. you just need to dont pay so much attention and if you know that you are different you dont need to associate with them and just ignore all those shitty human caracters.
Take it easy. Romanians are gypsies, Russians are alcoholics and commies, Germans are nazis, english people always drink tea (or beer) and love the queen, Amsterdam - gays, drugs, prostitutes; Americans are fat, French people wear berets drinks wine and eat frog legs,.. etc.
It's not about P.stars, Full T P, or other game place. It's about the whole world. Half of the world hates Russia but I don't care. You are pokerplayer and you should know, people hates you when they losing. So if someone hates you that means you are the winner. It's not racism, It's just emotions.

utilizatorus why are u so upset man? U don't have to take things so seriously. Yeah, they should have been banned by moderators, and I am sure if you would have called a moderator and told him about the incidence he would ban the provokers (if they will say once again gipsy...). But... like mobsters above me have said it's all about the heat and emotion of the moment, you probably won when they said that - because they were losing. Me too in my personal life I don't have any prejudice against nobody what so ever, cause every person can be different. In Pokerstars though, when I lose sometimes a hand or two for example when a guys reraises all the time I get angry and call names (for example fcking idiot, u Russian donk). If the other guy would have told me the same and cursed me like "Belgian fool, go drink beer" I would laugh. I already have his money and he is also on kind of 'tilt' so I can bring it to my advantage...
Sometimes you don't have to react or care what people are saying - especially online where you don't 'know' the guy so everything is possible. If you are so offended by it you can always turn off the chat and call moderator. Because of that you don't want to play on PS anymore? This I don't understand cause many other poker sites don't have so much moderator who acts against racism, so it will not be better than in PS believe me...
Do you realize that taking offense against being called a gypsy, is in itself offensive.
It is somewhat ironic that you complain about an offense, that isn't one, thereby committing that very offense yourself.
You shouldn't judge any individual by any group (ethnic or otherwise) they belong to, if you want to be unprejudiced. Many people don't care much whether they are prejudiced or not; it's just you'll be hard pressed to find someone that is prejudiced but not ignorant.
Also, although Romani and Romanian, are completely different entities, you must concede that these words being so similar might confuse some people...

I think the good part of this thread is that now most of the members know the difference between romanians and romani(gypsy)..
As for stars that is not valid only there, on absolutely every site you can find racist but with time you need to learn that on a online poker table you are to play not to chat

I like this thread. Not because that you not wanna play on pokerstars anymore. Because I like pokerstars. Personnally I think that they have to many **** words on pokerstars. Im looking to find the words they haven´t made **** yet.. Because I also write **** to players when I lose, or back to a player if he looses to me and calls me a **** word. I just see it a little bit of a game when a player calls me a *** word., To call him even worse **** words.
