Getting fed up with poker and this so called variance. Mine is always against me and when I have a much better hand people suck out to me one way or another and its constant. I hit trip 4's and go all in because of a flush, guy called with KK and hits a K. I have KK and someone hits a second J, or AA gets beat by 33. This is standard and has been happening all fuking week. The fish always win and my ABC poker gets me no where.
Variance evens itself out? Yeah so I am due a weeks worth but I wont so I call b******t. Poker is 75% luck and 25% skill.
ABC is not best strategy. You can play ABC only against weak players. (or at micro stakes) I can give you one good advice: Don't cry when you lose. Analyze your game and improve your strategy. If you have KK that's not mean you unbeatable. )) Watch the board, opponent's reaction, make the right decisions (bet, raise, fold)

No matter what you do,...you or anybody will NEVER know what card(s) is/are coming next, or what anybody will do next.
Not only are you having a little bad luck,...but somebody also thumbed you up the a$$ twice... Why they'd do that,.I don't know,...but I only give folks thumbs down if they're badmouthing me,...or badmouthing other folks for no good reason...
Intelligent people recognize the need for change...they see that change is inevitable and the process by which to grow. They go with and/ or initiate the process before they're kicking, crying, screaming, and beating their heads against the floor becoz they see that once the change has occurred it wasn't so bad after all.....

Take a break from it. And when you come back to the tables change a poker site also. It helps some time to break it down sooner than if you were on to keep playing at the same site.
Dont keep pushing to get your losses back cause that can result in bigger sums going away.

Yeah I am having a break now i'm down from £390 to £32. Ran into QQ three times last night and twice when I had JJ. Just shut it off before I went busto and went for a long walk. Can just win it back after a nice break so not out yet I guess.

I wasent crying, I was beyond angry, a big difference and I never thought I was unbeatable with KK but when its an all in against someones crap its usually ahead but its a coin flip so 50-50 I guess.

The poker site is fine its just the luck cards and me being an idiot. This poker site is the best I have played at and I prefer it to stars, 888 ect where I always run ten times as worse.
I was actually being calm in trying to play and not pushing to win it back fast but a few bad beats and the losses occurred. I could have just quit when I had £150 left but I always seem to lose once I switch to my phone to play on sites.
dude forreal im flat broke on poker my m8 sent me 1.50 yesterday i pumped it up all the way to 26 dollars then i lost back tot 15 i kept swining form 15 to 10 10 to 15 15 to 20 and at the end of the night i was flat broke i also lost with Ak S vs an donkey with 84 or when i go in with AQ i bump my head against a AK your not the only one i think the true meaning of being succefull in poker is dodging as many all in situations preflop or on the flop because then its 100% luck 2 examples i go all in with 33 guy calls with i believe AJ or AK on the flop 337 boom that was my lucky hand on the other hand ik go all in AK s i lose to AJ os hand affter that i go all in with KK i lose to AA hand after that i go in with JJ against AK i lose even though it was an amazing row of hands in the end i lost them all why because the importent parts of poker are turn and river play thats what i learned last night just call it getting wiser every time i play ofc you don't have to agree with this but i think when you read it you will also know this is correct

Of course i know from experience that variance is a b**** but the bad part is that you can't do much about it.
On the other hand you need to be careful on tilt, from the post you made is possible to be in that state so it would be wiser to take a break from poker for a day or two

Just watched a calling station fish for 40 minutes win 4 times his £20 buy in by calling every hand with every two pair you cant think of. Where is variance for these guys as time and time again they just decimate peoples raises with crap. Me included. If I try stuff like that I go busto very quick.

Good to know I am not a fool then. slowly gaining my money back and I have slowed down on everything just incase. Just got tO pay more attention to draws, especially flush draws these guys.

i guess the safest way to play poker is to stick to freerolls: even with the sh1ttiest variance you will still be down only to $0. if miracle happens and u end up winning sth- that makes you a winning player instantly you are free to go and spend your $0.02 at the highstakes tables (worst u can go down to is the same $0)

Variance is annoying. especially at MTTs.
1. When you start tournament facing thousands of competitors you will lose most of the time, especially if you're trying to get deep and not just to burst the bubble. It's a long day and bad luck will bound to happen sooner or later.
2. If you go all in as 60% favorite (which is the case most of the time when you're up and still losing) than you will probably won't survive the third time - you will fill unlucky but looking at the hole tournament you're lucky/unlucky will be even.
All those who bitch about the unlucky river etc. could never show statistics that back it up

This sentence honestly makes me believe you're just getting owned by smarter players and you can't even see it.
Yes because calling station and fish are smart players. Some could be but I doubt all the suck outs are because of super smart fish.
------------ And the bad variance continues, its like a constant tap leaking. First I flop a straight and someone fishes to a better straight then my big QQ raise PF gets called by 55 and of course hits a 5 on the flop.
I have had to drop right back to the boring mini micros because its constant above and my BR is nearly gone.
------------ And someone hits trips against me with low pockets once again for the 50th time this week.(Whereas I hit them maybe once every few days go figure) Running bad is a CUNT. From £394 to £12 in 3 days is a piss take. I play fine for a whole month and do really well and now this constant b******t.
why because 
you are free to go and spend your $0.02 at the highstakes tables (worst u can go down to is the same $0)
