germany is never easy to defeat! (except by croatia maybe... )
but i agree. portugal is so strong this EURO again that it will be very hard to beat them. but our team has a small chance left to get this with their fighting spirit, morale and discipline. oh! and their heart! i hope it will be a good match. even if we should loose i dont wanna see us have a last game like the one against croatia...

Netherlands play very good for the moment. If they don´t screw things up, i think they win the Euro2008. But you never know what Germany can do later.......

Russia beat sweden I didnt expect that to happen! Now holland has to beat russia in 1/4final, i think this wud be a great game, 2 teams play positive football. I say 3-2 for holland

With the beginning of the ko-stages the german team has performed much better than in the group games. A new 4-5-1 system and a bunch of new players and it starts to look like football.
Portugal seams to be Schweinsteigers preferred opponent. He scored one and set up the two other goals.

YAY! we advanced to the next round!
that means we get a rematch against croatia or, even better, a game against turkey in the semifinale. and who knows? maybe there is a final Germany - Netherlands in the end...

Holland refused to play an open game, and payed the price. I guess it is good that van Basten will leave. After this game he woudt have been sacked. False tactics, false replacements, a complete desaster.
