Was on a good run so I tried a hand I would not usually do and it paid off on the flop, but as usual I get fished by a river flush, and for a big pot as well which would have been big profit for me.

Did I play this right? I knew someone was chasing so I had to go all in on the turn as the pot was getting big.

Preflop, you are fish there. I dont mean to be rude but 56 suited or not is bad hand to play in re raised pot. After flop you did everything fine.

Actually, I see that 3bet was too small so its kind of ok to call that in cash game

Indeed, and I just won a few big pots a few hands before so I had some confidence so thought I would try my luck. Solid premium PF hands dont always win though. Just annoyed as I would have left and banked that winnings if that river card did not hit.

His allin call after the turncard is a joke with his straight and flush draw. The odds are to bad for his call. Your allin is ok i think, you have a maide hand and fold equity. But you have no chance against the river joker. We Need a suckout insurance at the tables Cool

I think its fine to take a chance now and again with these hands, although in the SB isn't ideal as you pay a lot for any drawing hands if the flop came down 47A for example.

The aggrodonker should stick to gambling. I thought you made good bet sizes and the strong bet after the flop is nice. The guy could only win with a flush and they paid for it, but still...wack play. 4:1 underdog but idiots shove with these hands a lot, literally cannot lay them down.

Had some Russian joker raise me on BB earlier, first hand of table, I reraised holding KK and he called, pot like $0.60. Comes down Ks 2d 4d. I raised, then he shoved AI. I knew I had him beat and I call. Similar to your situation he has A8d and bingos the flush on the turn like a donk. Nothing you can really do - idiot players risking a lot of chips for a 4:1 shot.

Yeah, but he didn't know that he was such an underdog, did he?

To _gogla1988_ it looks like you're holding a pocket pair, and don't want to give pot odds to draw.
In that scenario _gogla1988_ has 18 outs, 9 harts left 3 queens, 3 aces, and 4 fives (one of which is a heart), so he needs about 2:1 pot odds to call.

He had better odds than that (note that he had only €7.89 behind)... Okay he might not have counted all those outs fully, but there is also a percentage of the time that Phisix is bluffing to buy the pot, so the call was not that bad IMO.

Unlucky though for Phisix...

Your 1st line, playing a hand you usually don't play- works here ...but saying that the only prob was your position n decison to bet out to positional raisers??why??

ok you hit flop but a gamble payed on flop, you did everything correct till the flop u should of checked, see the bet action and then shoved or pot raise bet for likely folds and you take the pot there n then for a tidy win...shoving turn with 2 callers to ur out of position raise bet 2.40 was risky if you look at the board, poss 2pr- FH & the flush draws that hit..vs 1 villian maybe but with 2 callers and short stacker committer...its a no no on long run..

(You should be checking to trap-play re-raise or pot bet on your hit flop, not betting out only issue i have)

In a live game you prob get the folds, but online dynamics big diff...you were ul & you had a nut flush gambler to face, so ul, but still caution play is saver of cash/chips here..

(i do understand you were trying to force fold on turn shpve) but it was 1 street to late, that was hand should of not played out to turn-river...flop pot was yours if u had just checked HIT!!! GG GL Diamond

I only do it because I have been hurt by river flushes about a million times. That guy would have called any bet on the turn if I did not push so either way I would have probably lost.

Thanks bud. It did even itself back out a while after I lost that hand as I made what I potentially lost from two solid hands.
