sup mobsters,
just busted out of a live tournament about 3 or 4 people from final table and out of the money with QQ. blinds are 4/8k and i'm second chip leader with around 140k action folds to me and i make it 26k chip leader calls everybody else folds so it's heads up. flop comes 3,4,6 rainbow i bet 48k he hesitates and pushes,i think for a few seconds hoping he hasnt flopped a set but im realisticly thinking and put him on a big ace so i call, im right! A10 offsuit no backdraw flush nothing but ace high, the turn is dealt 10, thats fine doesnt change much gives him 2 more outs im still 90+% to win the hand the river card is burnt and its turned over. 10. i sit there for a few seconds, wish him and the table the best of luck and walk away. People really dont realise how often these suckouts do actually happen in real life lol, that is the perfect comparrisson to a pokerstars magic river, it sucked but what can i do right? i know the guy and he's a pretty good player himself he knew he had to bet to win the pot and was obviously putting me on a big ace and trying to represent big pockets, i bet the right amount because he either had to fold or push he couldnt really flat call with 80ish k behind, thats my analysis on the hand anyway, i know i didnt play the hand horribly just a bad case of getting sucked out on.

It seems, you can find this hard suckouts not only at only poker. But online you must pay rake in every Hand with a Showdown. In the past i thought it is only a Problem at stars, but you can find These sucks everytime and everywhere.

I know how you feel! This is too bad. That reminds when I played a live tournament this summer. I had AA, the other player had 9 10. The flop was 458. The turn was 10 and the river was 10. He went all in, I called and I was out with AA. We were only 18 players left. I felt very bad.
Don't worry! That happen sometimes with live poker as well. Life goes on!

Cruel cruel way to lose. You played the hand perfectly but that is no consolation after getting so close but to come away with nothing is very upsetting. You just have to dust yourself down and get back on the horse! unlucky again mate

It happens to the best of the families as they say You got unlucky there, but it happens. You forgot to mention though one of the most important things. How much you won

For what I understood he pushed all in after the CBet on the flop.
It is actually an awful suckout, but that is how Poker works. You played well, but you can not do anything else that keep playing well and wait for your moment.
May be the next tournament wil be yours! Good luck!
