It was very timely too... I had just dropped $100 AK vs AQ... Didn't BOOM it, but went like this:

Me SB, $198
Villain BB, $100
Folded around to me
I make it $3
Villain raises to $9.50
I shove
Villain calls in a heartbeat and hits Queen on the flop....

Meh... swings and roundabouts.

Very nice win, you lucky bastard!
I think he tried to bluff with a straight to ace, but it was not a very good one, as he checked the flop and the turn...
Nice win! Maybe an UPSWING is coming Blink Blink
Good luck at the tables!

This guy should never have got involved in the hand in the first place calling a three bet with this junk. I dont blame him for trying to bluff the river because a lot of the times it might have worked. Well done again to you

haha Big Smile Probably he thought he collected a straight. Maybe he's newbie or was tired, or flooded with emotions..

His hand was terrible though

this is a typical play , i always run into these idiots
he will have some kind of a draw , and then when he didn't hit it , he will shove bluff the river
it just happened to me , he was on a straight flush draw , i called his shove on the river with only second pair , it was so obvious
