At the start of day three he was one of the short stacks and probably thought that winning the tournament was going to be a struggle but any player knows that even with a mountain to climb the possibility of coming first is always achievable. Getting to heads up and having to play 60 hands would have been exciting and the difference of over 60k for losing the heads up match would make it a great experience.
