CAPS IS SO HORRID TO READ,
but i would play there, think this will cost you a fair bit to set up, i think its a good idea we can all learn from each outher, however the ones we want to learn from probably wont play for no $$, and when no $ at risk play becomes strange, so id say if you are going to do it it still would need risk and reward.

Want to become a BRM partner, huh? Do you think you got what it takes to roll with the Mobster crew! Just messing around, but BRM is a big company, send them your resume, I think they're hiring.

I think buying software for pokerrooms will be the biggest investment, haven''t got a clue what it costs but it won't be cheap

So take 90K because standard is mostly 'not complete' and you need a big server because when you have a laggy site nobody wants to play on your site Blink

simple fact is you be lucky to get anyone to play without bucks involved, which is he problem,to many other sites out there, money talks, but, doesnt mean you cant set up tourneys in poker sites on behalf of bankroll mob, if they agree.you could run that with a leaderboard.goodluck Smile

I support the idea, but really how do you think to make it happen without license which costs lots of cash, i have read some requirements for license and it starts from $10K with no guarantee that you will get one in the end. Not to mention that it is required to have money for payouts if you are planning freerolls. Maybe something could be done with 2000 members investing into this idea but single person venture it is a little hard to believe. I think that cheapest offer I`ve seen so far was one from iPoker network, not sure about that.

The real problem is: have you got the people? money is one side, if you find someone in afghanistan who spends half a billion to set up a poker site, it isn't done.
You gotta have the right people who can managa this HUGE (trust me, its mega large) workflow. You have to process payments (on this alone i think there are 300 people at partypoker working), customer service 24/7, best designers, poker experts, lawyers (you WILL definetly get several lawsuits a _week_, just from frustrated people who lose their cash and say you rigged sth....)

Trust me, once you've got everything set up, the work is about 2% done.
I was working for a small pokerroom some time ago; they had crappy software, self-coded, there were exploits everywhere, there were a thousand people who had a few millions on their accounts; even when the total deposits was under 1k...

The idea at first sounds good - better affiliates (rakeback blah blah), but the money and the people and the time needed just stand in no relation to this benefits.

jazzyboy, do you want BRM to get their own poker software or host in another pokerroom? BRM already said cost to much to buy software.
