17 times between the hours of 4 and 6 pm playing fulltilt I had my money in as a 3:1 favorite or better and lost. My premium hands on my tracker look like a freakshow. Skewed by about 18% in the negative direction. I mean WTF am I supposed to do. There is no way that after all this time this can be considered a downswing.
I lose whatever side of the coinflip I am on, I lose more with dominating cards than I win, I lose more 4:1 races with pockets than I win, and I in general cannot get premium hands to hold up when I make the correct plays. I am sick to my stomach that my results are so bad online when there is absolutely no way to play my hand better than I do.
5 out of 6 times today I have lost with As. Last night I played a cash tourney on fulltilt and bubbled when I flopped a set of As against J10 suited. Just as I type this had AQ raped by J4 and the guy tells me his hand is better preflop.

When I have a bad run, I quit and don't play until the next day. Everyone has bad runs even when you play solid poker.
I find its easy to go on tilt if you play tight, you fold, you fold, you fold. Than you pick up a hand and opponent sucks out on you. I get on tilt real easy this way and find its best to quit for the day.

Im sorry you are running so bad it's a devastating feeling when everything you do get's punished even though you do the right thing. Sadly there is nothing to do but continue to play your A-game untill your downswing is over.....cause that is what it is...Mr Variance knocking on your door. He knocks on everyones door and when he does the real players seperates from the wonnabe's by continue with A-game and not monkey tilt. So sleep on it and pick a side before you start tomorrow.
My last downswing was 5K hands I doubt you played that tonight.

I can perfectly understand that. On Everest poker I had precisely such a negative run. 8 times in a row I got my money in preflop with the higher pair, 8 times I lost to a set, a straight, or a flush.
Boy, I flopped a set of aces on a flop of A 9 10 , the guy pushes, i call and he gets runner runner straight for his pocket 88!
I am all in preflop after lots of raising and reraisng with AA against KK and AK suited, to lose a 200 dollar pot cause the AK guy turns the flush.
Took me about 2 weeks to get over that streak of bad beats..

If you must play poker and youre in downswing play freerolls, helps me to get over that period. And who knows maybe some money from freeroll will make you feel better. But if you dont have to play then don`t, take some time off before it gets to you completely.

That's the best tip. If you dont simply have luck. QUIT for the day, and try again next day, I've had similiar luck so many times its hard to believe, but now finally I think im doing good

Doesn't work. I have lost complete faith in the idea of being a winning player online. I have been trying to ride out this downswing for months. If his longest was 5k hands he is lucky because this has been about 70k for mine.
I continue to play quality poker but I just continue to lose. I wouldn't even be able to tell you the last time I had my money in behind in a serious pot (by serious I mean more than half my stack). It just isn't working I just continue to see the same garbage every time. I actually called it last night when I had an allin against J4 with my Ks, he caught a 4 on the flop and rivered the J and I called the J on the river.
It's pretty bad when you know the beat is coming because you have come to expect it.

Bad runs happen all of the time a few a weeks every 3 hand i played i won i was winning on insaine hands and i was $1800 up in 3 days, i would say this is a good run considering i work a lot, then last week I had the worst run ever and lost $1200 in 5 days play top pair everything I had got cracked half of the time i was close to pucking it was that sick, i had pocket aces cracked KK you name it i had it cracked.

For 3 months? Is that poker no that is ridiculous. I win one hand then I lose 7 and all the time I have the better cards. So you will all have to excuse my complete disregard for hearing the same stuff over and over again. I do not win in the long run, fish are not the best thing I can see at a poker table, and despite playing better cards (both hand wise and decision wise) I do not get rewarded.
So tell me again how online poker is realistic because when I do these things in real life playing cards I win alot?

Adapt? The majority of players would be overjoyed to have the ability to make as many correct calls as I do when playing. So if I am constantly making +EV decisions I don't know how I could possibly need to adjust. While I have no desire to be one of those nutjobs who says variance is bull (clearly not) this is not simply a case of variance because there is no upside at all it is constantly down. I know I cannot win because others do not pride themselves on making the same correct plays that I do and these incorrect plays are the type payed off by online RNG software.

hehe I played yesterday, and absolutley nothing worked, I got sucked out all the time :| Well I had break, watched movie and tried again, and everything went way better Now Im trying again but this does not seem so good

I thikn it's not fair thinking about a site is rigged or blaming someone else for our losses... poker gives and takes and is nobody fault but ours because we chose to play

Bad beats happen its annoying but just poker. When gettin 4/5 bad beats in short time it hurts. Try to stop some time, clear the mind and come back stronger
