Thursday is a fantastic day to get back to your roots (everyone has a bit if Irish in them somewhere) and drink copious amounts of the black stuff. If you don't know what the black stuff is, it is Guinness. A stout drink originating from and made in Ireland. Enjoy paddy a day and enjoy the craic!

NFL Draft is less than twenty-four hours away.
Honestly I don't follow closely college sports anymore because I have limited time but every year I constantly look forward how does my fav team fares on the draft and how others using their picks.

If the first two rounds going to be complete I might write an opinion piece here as a post about what happened.

Not much to say - currenty the second round is undergoing.
In the first the Bears traded up for Leonard Floyd - a linebacker from Georgia - whom they expected to go out to the Giants where he would have fill a need so they exhanged places with the Titans to pick two spots earlier...
Only time will tell this was a good pick or not, they needed somebody with great speed for Vic Fangios 3-4 defensive scheme and they got one, but at this point he was certainly not Best Player Available so I had mixed feeling with this pick tbh.

i feel moral obligation to post some crap in this thread, since it seems that you begin the mentally depressing conversation with yourself. today is april 30th and the sun is shining, i have plans to go to the market and buy myself some meat, then go back and make cotlets. good bye.

Naah, man it's not that depressing but I assume even out of the small percentage of mobbits who are interested in american football not every one of them following the Draft year in year out...
And I only write here about things - beyond poker - that dear to me so I won't expect any response whatsoever but your insights are always welcomed here as you know it by now Blink

Wow, now I am hearing that Skip Bayless leaving ESPN for FOX. Funny that after last year - when they 'fired' Bill Simmons and screwed up his legacy (30 for 30; Grantland) another big name is leaving the ship because the competition offered him a more reasonable sum. If not cordcutters gonna kill this network then the fact that sooner or later no wildly recognized name will be under their umbrella...

Watching the current season of Game of Thrones, no need to say the deathcount is escalating exponencially for wich I blame the inevitable end-game (there supposed to be just two more seasons left with less episodes than usual) but I still think that every death in the previous seasons (especially the first three/four) had their own weight. Well, that is obviously not the case now.

Watching the current season of Game of Thrones...

Oh, boy - the last episode was titled 'Oathbreaker' but actually featured multiple oaths which were breaken after all.
Jon's oath to the Night's Watch (which supposed to last 'till his death, but that part is just a technicality), Dany's oath to the Khalasar (which she made back in season 1 - to be part of the Dosh Khaleen if it's over - when Drogo was still alive) and the Umber's oath to the Starks as their loyal bannermen. Giving Rickon to the Boltons is everything but loyalty to Winterfell's true rulers.

Never heard of this video up until today but apparently this happened ten years ago.
Poor guy went in for a job interview with the IT department but somehow they've mistaken his name with someone else and they've put him on a panel - live.

Just rewatched this gem, damn John Milius is genius and Arnold is great. The whole movie is atmospheric as hell, you will never gonna see another film like this again, now that everything is basicaly CGI and practical effects plus stuntmans are far and few.

Hard to believe but this song is despised basicaly the whole band itself, back then the label forced them to make the number of songs on this album even, so they wrote it rushed right during their studio time. They never really play it live, but I think of it as a hidden gem on one of their best album...

Seeing all those new FA signings the Chicago Bears had in the last week makes me want to cry inside.

I am so tired. Sometime I just coming home from work, taking a shower, putting on some music and lying on the bed for an hour to relax my whole day out of my system. Certainly makes me go sleep easier.

Also like this theme... in fact all the four 1st albums were amazing: Kill'em All, Ride The Lightning, And Justice For All, Master of Puppets.
From The Black Album to Load, Reload an son on only a few themes kept the Metallica Identity like "Enter Sandman" and "The Unforgiven" a nice ballad "Nothing Else Matters"
Basically, and it's only my opinion Jason was never the bass they need to make it sound like Burton did.
But once they hired Robert Trujillo Metallica's been back to cool themes and great albums Worship

Here's one of my favs:

Okay so the draft in 2017 just happened a week ago but its still making waves - especially my fav team DA BEARS - which drafted a QB by trading up to the second place and after they picked a bunch of helping hands to be around him in the future (TE, RB and a Guard). Funny that every media outlet is giving $hit 2 the organization about the whole thing but I have come around quickly from my first initial wonder so all I could say that I effin' trust our GM who is a pretty effin' good talent-evaluator so far when it come to college athletes.

BEAR DOWN!
