Welcome to the forum mith. Vitriol?.......I just see regular and loyal BRM forum users defending this site.Your critical comments are somewhat exaggerated......"the whole layout and everything is ugly as sin" and "barely usable" is not really correct. I have been to many forums and while this may not be the best it is certainly above average and to say it is barely usable is just an opinion from someone who did not put much effort into it. If you had asked the simple question on how to find your thread you would have had an answer in minutes from members who are always willing to help others....especially new members. ....back to vitriolic replies.....I see no reply as being malicious,nasty or anything approaching what I see all the time on other sites. The forum could obviously be better but it is just an add on for BRM and is probably not used much by many of the 600,000 members but those that use it do seem to be able to navigate quite easily.If a member has problems then I guarantee there will be many regulars who will help them out.......Where else will complete strangers help out each other and ask nothing in return?

Hi mith, like some people said you have 5 years account, some posts and now you came here to criticize the forum model and the structure of them. I like many people said, is is not a very greatest forum model or pickouble, but is good enough to search information, help players and do a community, and you say that the english is not hte first language for some people, yes you are right, but if you see all of that players are trying to do some work to make post with better english for every one can understand, maybe use the google translator, maybe not, but here is the thing, we can understand all that this players are trying to say, good or not we have achieved in understanding. And if you are not happy with the look of the forum, you go to another one and see if you find people like here.

Jeezuz, people you are going overboard. The design is poor from a usability standpoint. I have done a bit of web dev and design, and though no expert I do know enough to recognize those facts. I recognize that 'beggars cant be choosers', but I was sharing my _opinion_ and feelings on the matter. I did not scream that this place is " filled with worthless threads and Spam Posts of those trying to earn BRM points" or any of the dozens of other issues I could have bitched about. People attacked my lack of posts without considering the fact that I chose not to POST GARBAGE, unlike so many others.
I didn't s**t on content or users, just usability and design. You folks are taking this in an entirely different direction now. Don't be Donks.

Lol BRM have over 600000 Members but i think you the only one they don't like it.And what is wrong when you post garbage from time to time.I and I think many others have a big smile on the face when we read some funny post.We have fun here and what is wrong when we have fun.And the most post are good. Maybe you must think what is wrong with you and not with the site.I like it you got all important links when u log in.When you hit the button you are in a second in your account,in the forum and all others what you want.And you have a good working stable server,I can not remember that I can not log in in my account in all the years.You got not every minute a pop up or something else(I really hate pop ups every minute).So tell me what do you want more???????????? The other good thinks that I like have I post before,or do you read not my post why my English is not perfect

When people post garbage posts and threads just to gain points it degrades the experience of the other users by lowering the overall quality and usefulness of the forum. Honestly, I haven't really seen many threads of significant substance. Maybe I need to look deeper, but should I have to slog through 10 spammerish posts for one that's legit? And again, you didn't understand what I wrote.
I was only commenting on _MY_ user experience and viewpoint about _DESIGN_. You all keep acting like I said I found no value in the site at all, but if that was the case, I wouldn't be on the freaking leaderboard. I care about poker, I care about the services I use, and I wanted to provide feedback to help BRM improve. You may take issue with my delivery (though it seems to be beyond most of those dumping on me), but my point regarding the intuitiveness isn't irrelevant or worthless. Perhaps stop making assumptions about what I posted and read the actual post past the Title.

If you want this forum and the site to be better and you have some very good ideas or even help improving it IMO its not the place to do it.
You probably know that you can send mail to BRM and i think that would be the appropriate way to do it. If they are interested or not they will answer you.

regarding design- yeah probably it's not the best in the world, i remember at first i didn't like it too, but once you get used to it, you somehow don't notice it and since you're talking to forum regs... well we're all used to it. though any constructive and easily implemented solutions are always welcome. i'm sure brm would have nothing against an overall improvement in any department if it didn't cost them extra.
regarding bullsh1t posts in the forum- been talked about quite a lot and i think brm have taken a wise path- most of the sh1t is concentrated in 2 thread and not scattered around the forum. so if you're not interested in your daily does of bullsh1t you just dont look into those 2 threads.
regarding points for posting- from users point i don't see how it's a bad thing to get free money for posting, from brm point it's a strategy to keep forum alive and as long as they lose only an amount which they are prepared to lose, this scheme is gonna function.

I think we all understand that the forum is not perfect with the bulls**t thread and a couple of others that are designed to only earn points but admin can't look at every post and dictate what topic is worth discussing or decide if an answer to a thread is a real point or just a way to get 10 points. I also think a lot of people forget that this site is primarily a no deposit and bonus site for all kinds of gambling and not a just a poker site. Not many sites give money away every day for doing nothing,we all get chances on the calender and safe and we don't have to contribute anything in return.So maybe a couple of things you mention do kind of suck but I think the parts that do not suck more than makes up for the bad points.

For me the design is absolutely OK.Sure everything can get better but this design works to with old computers.BRM have members from around the world not all members have a highend pc.In the beginning I have a old PC and on many site's I most wait a longtime for loading the site but by BRM the loading time was OK.The last year I go only online with a tablet and its works fine,I can not play the calendar but for me its OK.So change the design can be a risk.And in the end when you get a package what is important, how the package lock or what is in it
Most of us here love the forum, that's why most answers here are not sympathetic to your critique.
I get what you are saying though (not that I agree, mind you), this forum is built by BRM itself, rather than using 3rd party software from a company that does nothing else, and spend so many more man hours getting it right. Other sites, that use these standard solutions, are not that great IMO, but that may be because I'm so used to BRM.
One thing that I particularly dislike is the indenting of replies, particularly when it goes multiple levels deep. I like the straight forward approach by BRM.
The worst things about BRM IMO, are the loud advertisements, especially the popup ones, and MobMail, that just won't go away until you read it (but I appreciate the reason why; BRM needs to make money too)...
