I know a few of you have recently been talking about Twitch so just a warning if you have not logged into the site today that it has been hacked and your account details may have been stolen. I did notice that but Amazon who own twitch only released some details yesterday and it is the usual news release where details are limited.Not sure if the August attack is the only time it was hacked but seems strange they would take over 6 months to release the statement. http://blog.twitch.tv/2015/03/important-notice-about-yo...

Actually if you read this closely they have been hacked twice , now and when they were hacked in august, it seems like one hack, but it is actually two.
------------ the first hack just took them off line, the second attack took paswords , addresses and ph numbers.

Thanks crash58 for the information. I never went on twitch.tv and for sure with what i just learned i wont try to go. When someone get your passwords and personal information you are in trouble its like if you lose your deit card with your NIP written on.

I recived email from twitch... It has been hacked... I am loging in with FB, so I changed my FB password... I change it so many times that I will forget it for sure.... Damn you twitch!!!! I recomed all of you to change passwords

logging in using an open signon method, like that provided by facebook, should not reveal your password. Facebook exchanges a token with Twitch, telling Twitch that you are who you say you are. Twitch believes FB because of thier trust relationship. Erego, you don't have to change your FB password just because Twitch was infiltrated....

hacked account are very easy to do now.our future are increases technology day day so if your desktop or laptop is not properly secured i guess your might be the next one...

Yeah be careful with all online accounts there is always the chance of it being hacked so be careful what you put out there, as there might be hackers gunning for you account information or worse trying to steal some s**t out of you, especially if it is a funded poker account and so on. Anyway good luck at the tables and be careful again, cheers peace out gonna hve some rest and good food then back to some grind guys!
