Just as the previous three days, Day 3 of the EPT Malta Main Event ended with a new chip leader, Javier Gomez. The Spaniard, who qualified for the tournament through a €250 satellite, bagged up 1,690,000 and is now guaranteed €12,800 - with the chance of going all the way to the top prize of €810,400! Several big names busted out on Day 3 (Connor Drinan, Dan Smith, Vladimir Troyano[...]   Read more » EPT Malta Main Event: 56 Players Left, Satellite Qualifier Out In Front

There have been a lot of big names to fall by the wayside and the players left in will be relieved that some of these players have gone. Good luck to all those left in and i look forward to tomorrow's update

Some times apears guys like this, pay a litle small buy.in through a satellite, and win a big hit, is a good thing, to promote and get in the game more players, but read every day the same story is a litle bit hard, not against just saying.
But in the end we all have to congratulate this players that they are run like "gods" and get some real good results.

Yes good luck to all of the remaining players, but I prefer playing some poker mysel. So why not try the EPT live freerolls on Ppokerstarss. There is one at 19:15 CET for everyone, a Belgium version at 20:00 and a german EPT tournament at 21 o clock.

It's always nice for an unknown player to receive the news about the loss of a big name. That doesn't necessary mean that their life at the tournament is now easier but for sure releases some of the pressure. They somehow feel that, at least in that moment, they are a bit better than them. Let's see where the satellite chip leader will get. Will this EPT create a new kind of Moneymaker?

From the live feed it appears that Gomez has been knocked out in 5th place for a massive $200,000 so his ROI on a $250 satellite will be very impressive. Not sure if this is his biggest win but I am sure he will be very happy with his performance.

I have already had one cash in the German EPT live freeroll. I won 50 cents, which is ok for nearly 1 hour and 30 minutes playing time. Today I will try my luck again in this one and in the normal EPT live freeroll starting in 34 minutes.

Whenever I hear something similar or a word sounding just as like 'The Spaniard' I cannot think anything else than some wrestling folk in a luchador mask trying to rip my childhood in half while I am in front of the tv set wathcing some early Wrestlemania. It always make me chuckle.
