i like the scheme, it gives such sh1tty poker player like me to stand a chance of winning. actually me thinks that i can pull something similar in the upcoming wsop main event- imagine pochui sitting at the final table with 99% of his huge chip stack consisting of counterfeit chips.

All you need is a dvd writer and a paypal account. Somehow have to build a roll which could afford you a zillion counterfeit chips I guess. GET ON IT!

Who says crime never pays? $1.3 in two years just from selling boot leg DVD's. Easy money. Seriously though, what an idiot. let's put plastic chips down a toilet as they are sure to not get clogged up.

Guy got what he deserved and has to pay back that massive amount as well as prision time. Hates.

He's a small time crook for sure - imagine if all these money would have been spent on hookers and blow instead financing his gambling addiction with $hitty chips. These people never learn.

I don't think he really thought this through properly. In a tournament it is obvious that there is going to be a discrepency in the chip totals at the end of the day.If he had had more sense he should have used the fakes to build up a lead and then take away the same number of fakes as he progressed....and hope that the fake chips pass scrutiny. Don't you just have to laugh..... Some people are so not with what really goes on and as usual when caught get what they deserve. I heard of someone getting convicted of fraud by falsifying cheques and paying for goods with them. Then when it came to sentencing, sought clemency from the judge by submitting a falsified testimonial! Got even more than they would have without the testimonial.
