Waaaaay back in the day when I used to play online I went from $20 to 14k in about 23 hours, won 4 $5 sngs right off the bet and then won a MTT for 3k and then played higher and higher limit cash games till I passed out with a little over 14k in my account.

Too late for that. This is the 3rd begging I've seen from him this morning, including one where he asked ME for money. So I've given him a few days off so he can go out and work a bit and earn enough to deposit himself

You have to be very lucky in my opinion... my best is with 50$ and 3 days later I had 4500$... I played only cashgames and when I had won a lot on a table I went on to the next table with higher blinds... I started at tables with blinds 0.25/0.50$ and ended at table with blinds 5$/10$...

If you doubled up 10 times you would do it, maybe if you played really tight and stuck to premium hands you could have half decent chance if you got one good hand an hour...

1time i was playing mansion poker sit&go. I went from 20$ to 450$ in 3 days but finnaly i was playing 400$+(10-20$) sit&go when 5/10 players won 800$ and i was 7th My all in with AK was called my 99, and other player won

Today I have played freeroll 25EUR tournament with just 4 players including me. First 3 places were paid. The first guy started raising and pushing from beginning and i thought I'll wait for good hand to all-in him. I got KQ suited and he raised it so on the flop were Q,J and 7 so i went all-in discovering that he has JJ so i lost. I was so pissed cause I couldn't win money even in 4 people tournament!

LOL... I think it would've been better to relax for a while until one of them is out of the tourney and then, after being in the money, you coulda start pushing all in with premium hands, if you really wanna play the all-or-nothing style....

about this thread, its IMPOSSIBLE to go from 5$ to 5.000 in 12 hours.really impossible
