Gonna watch videos now wont be able to start scanning til about 330 (2hours) from now since im out with kids til wife gets home but ill keep ya posted when i start
------------ Have tried and still no luck. Cant seem to get my phone "rooted" i am now a developer on my phone after doin some tinking but thats as far as i can get. Had phone bricked once and now its acting up a bit so dont want to try that route

why you didnt follow instruction step by step from that video that I gived to you? It will work, only problem is that you deleted that pic long time agao, and it has a chance that you can get them all, but all you have to do is follow that video step by step, he done evrything, and you will get it

Ill giver another go. It says it detects my phone but cannot process unless going into safe mode and phone can be bricked agin. Same as last one did
------------ Whatever i did to my phone put a beating on it. Keeps restarting, tellng me i have txt msgs, my screen password keeps randomly puttin in random numbers maily "9" by itself. Downloaded another anti virus now headin to dads to get norton off him to install then will try agin. Think i mighta fd if from all these free programs i allow in my phone
Honestly a Samsung Shop or a random Mobile Repair Store would not have been a better option? I get that you tried to do this by yourself and you put a great effort into it but: 1. if the phone has overwritten those parts where the data of your photos previously been stored then it will be hard to recover them at all 2. no adware of virus worth it to recover something which you were not that fond of in a first place (except if you deleted those by mistake). Of course I don't want to be the usual debby downer so I am rooting for you.

Ive always had anti viruses on my androids. Mainly for downloading stuff on the web outside of the play stores n such. My last galaxy was completely useless, something got in it and i couldnt download or update anything hadda buy new one

lol you buy new phone because of that O.o you could just reinstall OS O.o or if you cant do it just take it to store they will do it for 10e here... probably same price is there in Canada... When you finished fixing phone try my link step by step, dont skip anything, just follow it, and belive me you will recover photos

If you are NOT ROOTED If you don't know what this means, you are most likely not rooted
The first thing to do is to connect the phone memory (internal or external) as a Mass Storage Device to your computer, ie, via USB. Although you can connect your Android directly, you can also use a Micro SD Card Adapter to attach your microSD via USB.
If external memory is the issue, I'd recommend an adapter because not all Android phones manage memory in the same way and the cleaner the connection between your precious data and the recovery, the better.
Then download Recuva (you can use either the paid or free version), which is a program to recover files. You can also use other programs, like Coolmuster or Wondershare Dr. Fone (which requires root but is available for Mac or PC), but Recuva is a great free tool.

This App won't help this time, but to avoid future accidental deletions I use "Dumpster" from the Google Play Store--> http://goo.gl/kbBVh It essentially acts like a Recycling Bin on Windows.
I'm not sure about your information regarding Mass Storage Mode - my phone is rooted and has the same PTP/MTP modes. Anyway, depending on what method you use to root, you may have all of your data intact.

or he can use google photo... that upload all his photos to google account, it can upload to 15GB of photos

Always have a back up for your photos and do that regularly. Besides copying all of my photos to the pc, i a m also creating DVD's in case of a pc failure. That has saved me once so far, when i had to format. It was much faster, copying the photos to the pc after the format, than trying to recover them

Dumpster is one of the multiple apps i now have downloaded lol gonna try stheps method agin here ina few jjust gettin my youngest ready for bed. Im gonna use my tablet to follow steps agin so i dont miss nothing n see if i can get it rooted. And about buying a new phone cuz it was effed yup sure did lol but just broke screen and said i dropped it. Had it for less then a month so got free replacement

Issue im javing now is step two. I havta pick the proper network and mine isnt listed. Im woth eastlink wireless. I used rogers the first time since they have a network agreement with them but didnt work so may habta go though all of them and see if it works
