California television network VAMN-TV recently revealed that it is working on a new television reality programme called Girl Got Game, which will follow the lives of eight female poker professionals on and off the felt in Las Vegas and Macau.

girl got game you say... hmm why not, of course better if the show was called "girl got melons and a pair of aces in between" since that would generate lots more buzz... but hey i'm not the director of the show, so who cares what me thinks... hopefully girls will some strip poker to make this a show to remember

Do poker players really think women players have to prove themselves these days?I think most realise it is just a numbers game and the top women players can play,some may play tight but when you have a lot of guys thinking they can just bluff them it is probably a good strategy.

Where are those feminists now to tear u a new one pochui, i like what u said, but they would be just PPPPIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSEEEEEDDDDDDD at you the only thing i do think should happen, is we need to have more woman players at the tables, if not anything else, at least it helps to look at something beautiful while a donk tanks for 15 min. and the table would definitely smell a lot nicer

I think the title is an obvious riff to that popular sayin' in America - 'he got game'... There's even a Spike Lee movie with a title like this.

Interesting observations going on here from our eclectic mix of monsters. I have to say, that in these modern times surely it should be called, 'person got game'. It should include a mix of all potential sexual (and I suppose religious, ethnic and any other description one may wish to proffer) preferences to ensure that a fair representation of the masses is included and to allow the maximum fairness to all.
As a women I think that women can be good players, but guys on average are better in tactical and mathematical aspect in games. That doesn't mean all women are worse players, it means that there are less professional female players. A lot of women who are potential good players are busy with their families or taking care of their boyfriends. So that will lower the odds of another female pro-player.
Playing poker with emotions is a bad thing what I'm guilty off (and other women), but a lot of men also tilt or have problems with their macho behavior.
