I agree....it is unlikely that this was a 25c a spin player who thought they would splash out and risk 2.50 on a spin. I saw a twitter account of a very rich businessman turned poker player who showed pictures of 50k wins on slots but then realised he was spending $200 a spin!!!

Many clickbait/ intentionally misleading titles lately. Did Marie G bet only €2.5 in total really? I doubt it. It was most probably €2.5 a spin for hours and hours of play. Most probably one the the degens that "got lucky". This kind of reporting motivates the other degens to go after their pipe dream.
We eventually get these stories about jackpot wins here and more times than not the winners did not spin with cents. I usually don't go above 50-80 cents per/spin even when wagering a bonus, so to risk 2-5 euros per spin you had to have a nice sized bankroll or have to be maniac.

yeah lol even 65k wouldnt last him too long
but as people already mentioned, playing slots at such high stakes requires healthy bankroll to even have a decent shot at winning something, not to mention winning big. And, imo even $2,5per spin is actually high stake considering how cruel slots can be, and theres really not much you can do to influence its outcome)
thats like $100 to spin 40 times ... yeah you really have to have a very, very healthy bankroll.

Depends on the type of jackpot slot Vic....Some of the jackpot games give more chance of the jackpot if you are playing higher stakes and they never tell you what the actual odds are I doubt the min stakes players hit those jackpots very often.

I usually play the ones which has either decent paytables or good feature game(s). Jackpot is basicaly 'lotto' in a game which itself already kind of lottery, so those are truly not for me.
