Great job winning the ticket.
You are right late registration for three hours is a killing.
Did you manage to score any money at the end of it, or you just quit?
Being a sunday tournament is also another downside to it for those with regular jobs.

Be careful as you begin to accomplish the goals you have sought to achieve. You might find that the pursuit of goals is more fulfilling than the realization of those goals. The remedy is to always set new goals as you achieve more.
Good luck on your inspiring future.

My uncle Ben always use to say, life's like a box of chocolates, luke I am your father. Well he actually didn't say he was my father. What he meant to say is that, with great power comes great succes or what? no, with great power comes great responsibility, spiderman, spiderman, does what ever a spider can.

So! Well done on getting the ticket but bad luck on getting busted from the main tourney after three hours. The problem with poker is the time you have to invest to get not a great deal or occasionally nothing. Maybe change your strategy and bust earlier or build a bigger stack to get you to the final table.

Trying a new game to see how you can do with it is one thing.
But keep playing when you see your results are bad is another Smile
Since you can win money playing your regular games why you are stuck to it.
Gamble isnt always good. Well it is Smile but mostly when you are winning Smile
