are you busto? no updaits about this O.o

As I remember, you were spin n go grinder too, StheP. Do you still grind there ? or do you think that game is not profitable for long term and will not improve our skill ?? Please share your experience. Your opinion our bankroll should be 300x buy in ( I remember your suggestion to me 200x before Smile )
why so big ?

unfortunetly I am busto too... they are beatable but you need discipline...you must hang on BR menagment if you want to be profitable, and if you tilt a lot I dont suggest you to play it... you need 300x buy in bankroll because of huge swings...highest variance of all games is exactly on spins... there are swings even bigger than 100x buy in (trust me I'v been there) also all spin and go grinders will tell you the same... some of them even suggest 500x buy in, but I think 300x is right and like I said you must have realy good BR menagment... if you go down, you should lower your buy in, which I didnt do couple of times and thats why my BR is at 0 Sad

Like I have said before I think this type of game mostly profits the poker rooms and not the players. They lure the players in with the thought of winning big in no time, but the structure and stack size makes it a luck game more than a skill game. It's possible to beat the game over a while with some luck, but the downswings will be brutal. I have a feeling this is nearly impossible to beat unless you have really right bankroll management (like 200/300x buy-ins) and win most of the good spins.

Show me one instance of poker where the main requirement to succeed is not the right BR management, patience and some luck. Besides anything gambling related is usually having these as main pillars.

Sorry for the lack of updates... been too busy with "real life" (or the non-poker side of real life I should say Smile )

Not busto.... hovering around 16% ROI and steadily increasing my bankroll. Up to $350 now, but decided to stick with the $1 games for a while... maybe until I have 150 buy ins.

congrats on the great progress 16% ROI is a great accomplishment Smile Big Smile I also like playing spin and gos as well they are quick and easy games but the swings as stated are huge I have busted my rolls many times because I also havent followed proper bankroll management but next time around I plan to keep bankroll management and play a 100-500 times buy in per level rule due to the above mention swings in the games I also plan on playing the regular sit and gos as well to balance my own win rate I hope to stay tuned to this thread and hear more updates on your progress keep going strong Big Smile

It is always better to play the limits that you feel right too.
Playing higher ones stressed, thinking about the outcome and that it can ruing your bankroll,
is never a good thing. The 1$ are still decent ones and you can get a fast profit in a lucky
session Blink

Thats nice though. Nevermind if this pace is slower than you planned before if the profit is steady. Congrats and keep going!

Well of course it would be hard to beat the game on the long term if you don't respect your bankroll/liferoll management. But that doesn't mean it's impossible to have success without it especially if you have a job, steady income and know how to play poker. A lot of pros started out by getting lucky in a tournament or some freeroll and learned about bankroll management years later when they decided to turn pro...
