Now that's a real cooler  +1
Good thing he didn't have more cash in his stack because I would have given it all to him for sure after that river Blink

Here's the hand guys:

Really I don't think there's anything I can do to dodge this pre flop. I'm happy to get it in on the flop with second nuts considering he's not to deep and im heads up against original raise who is c-betting so it's really a no brainer there. When the turn brings a K I know I'm not drawing dead even if I'm against the nuts, and when the river comes... no way im folding ever lol

Of cause you are not going to fold the river. He has less than 25% of the pot behind, so a no brainer. Only thing you could have done, and i am a bit surprised you didn't do, after watching your other hands, is reraising preflop.

Wow, this hand was the definition of a cooler. The hand pretty much played itself, you flop the second nuts ,the turn gives you top set and then the river gives you top full house!! You were right in saying that you were lucky he didnt have more money because it would have all gone in

And your temperament cooler as well Smile. I didn't see you on tilt at your write. That hand just indicate you at unlucky moment, but your attitude ( no said something bad like jokerstars or worse ) impressed me. Smile

Yeah you're right Shokaku, I think 3betting here with KK is fine especially considering his stack size. But if he jams then I have to fold or risk being against AA and I like seeing flops with big pairs, hoping to catch a set over set situation.

Serpang --> Thanks man! The more volume of PLO I play, the more I get used to variance. I think PLO is a great game to play for hold'em players to improve their games and their mental strength. A lot of the betting patterns are different, and calling (being passive) is better than it is in hold'em. But still there's a lot a player can learn by being good in many poker variants.
