If I want to cash out via partypoker, should I use the old screen name or use the new screen name? It says enter the account name in order to cash out, the accout name is the old screen name but not the new screen name. right?

If you have an account at party poker and you changed the user name, then i guess you will have to send an email to BRM. They know this thing and it is better to proceed in this way. When you change a nick name, the email address remains and in the end you will get the money, but you must to try and to announce an admin from BRM. This is normal...

We need the username that you log on to the poker client with. Not alias/screen name that you have at the poker tables.

you talk about two different things,because only change was with your screen name,but your log in name/username is same and you do everything as you did before!so just put username and that will be enough to get your cashout on party poker account!maybe it will take few days,but you will get it!

This is why I don't understand the namechange promo from party - they don't allow HUDs anymore so you could not build databases from players data therefore changing names is kinda meaningless.

No more HUDs, but those who did use them can no longer associate previous patterns of game play against the same opp whose alias has changed. At the micros, perhaps not so useful, but for the grinders at the higher levels, where the pool is smaller, they are not as well positioned to use history as a weapon. Until, of course, they are able to use the info they can store without the benefit of a HUD to their advantage.

Anyone know what was the reason why they decided to eliminate HUD? Now I understand why they requested the change of Alias. I believe that deleting saved statistics could cause some players to leave the room, but that can cause them to be filled with fish.
