There is a debate on Twitter, some may be tongue-in-cheek, but I am brining it up here to have the mobsters vote on it and put this to bed.

When referring to the 2 cards dealt to each player at the start of a NLHE hand, various Twitteratti are referring to them as;
Hole cards,
Hold cards and
Hole-cards.

Which is correct?

oke,slip of the mouse apparently because i meant to click on the option Both of the above are acceptable.
when your referring to the hold cards, either way people know at what your referring to.
what is the reason that started the debate if may ask? a discussion about this seems a bit pointless to me

The two main debates on Twitter are going around in circle and imo they are both wrong, I wanted some independent view points before starting a further potential flame war!

ah oke, they will always keep going in circles because people need something to bitch about even if it is something so insignificant as this. but good luck with it Thumbs Up Beer
