This is a good and near opportunity to loo a while what happend in a big tournament. Uruguay is a neighbour country of Argentina, and I have more kilometers between Patagones and Buenos Aires, than Buenos Aires/Punta del Este. Including that I have some family members taken his holidays there. The only detail that I have to solve is how I might miss my job...

this will be big tournament for Uruguay and you dont see such a big tournament in this country every year!lot of money is in game,main event will have 5 million GTD dollars,so what to expect more!we can expect lot of south american players!

When you hear of Phil Hellmuth you can realize that it is nice if you can qualify for such a game. Sometimes it's great to play with professional players and if you keep filming from there, learn many good things from the mistakes there. Success for the South Americans who will try to make money.
One thing is for sure I am not gonna be there to participate, lol... 10k buyin for a gtd five million is not a bad bargain though, but I guess the hotel room and airfare will make this tourney overall more expensive for the players than it should be.

It´s true. The satellites for the tournaments allways gives to you a push, but never pay for all your expenses. Punta del Este is the the most expensive city of Uruguay. Perhaps, when you come from the North and carry hard currency, might be not too expensive. But the matter is that the satellites should have prizes to the micro bankrollers!

I like it that PartyPoker try with the Millions Tour some new locations like Uruguay. And the prize pool was awesome, but it was good that we see a lot of different locations on the tour and not the same every time.

yeah,for most of us this is big money,just to travel there for poker tournament and to spend on buy in 1100 or 10300 $ is big amount!travel ticket and everything else will just increase your expense!but if you try to get this package from satellites,then this can be great trip for everybody!

Poker players can make requests to certain rooms and they to introduce more satellites, because some gamblers want to play live tournaments, but have no money for huge games. I think there is little courtesy for this thing to happen.

Even if you were there, it wouldnt be that easy participating in the tournament, since the buy in is 10k usd A game for the high rollers only, and the ones that have the money to spare. There are quite a few of them out there

well, about the location, think that all the other tournaments are in the North. So, the real problem is that the satellites with package prizes of buy-in and accommodation and a humble stay, have to include tickets to the fly. They spends $ 15.000 or $ $ 20.000, so 10 % more for the travel is cheap, don´t you think?

All satellites from these major tournaments should include plane tickets for destination and return, hotel, entry for the game and few dollars to spend. I think that's fine and this is not difficult to achieve. Marketing executives should think better and will be fine for many players.

Yes, I think in the same way CALICUL. I don´t understand why the organizers don´t use to offer this prizes. They could make an agreement with the flyers companies with a lot of time before the event, so they buy the tickets for nothing. But for us, the cost of a ticket within a few days is the more expensive, I don´t understand

Maragatero my friend, it's been a while since you stopped posting and when you came back didn't tell me if you tried to play satelittes games for live tournaments. Must do it if exists something close to Argentina and maybe your qualification it will turn into money.
