Hi all! Some time ago we read a news about a poker movie (Card Hunter), although from the comments it was not so much about poker. A few days ago I read about another movie that would be released in 2022, specifically about poker and with very good actors: Poker Face, with Russel Crow, Elsa Pataky, Liam Hemsworth, among others. Let's hope it's a good movie.

With such a protagonist , it sure has the potential to prove good and have success in viewership . Of course I want to see if this poker movie will bring sth new , in comparison to all other poker movies that already exist . Meanwhile , while searching internet for this movie's trailer , I saw a trailer of a Greek movie with the same title , lol , didn't know we had such movie , filmed 10 years ago . Lol

Haha, the exact same thing happened to me. Looking for information on this movie I saw that there was another one like it, or at least with the same name. It could be a remake, but I don't know. Surely, with those protagonists, it will be a good movie. I've been wanting to watch something like Rounders for a long time, but unfortunately there aren't that many good movies about poker. They are counted on the fingers of the hand

I hope it's a good movie, because we need to see something with quality, not a bad movie only for some money. The actors are good, but let's see what the script will be, because in recent years good movies have become rarer. We'll see how good it is.

Without a doubt, obviously it is not enough with the protagonists. But normally it is assumed that if the protagonists are good, the rest of the team is. Unless it's an independent movie. I have faith that it will be a good movie and will not disappoint us. It remains to wait when it will be released. Supposedly it would be in 2022

I was now looking on the internet and "Poker Face" directed by Russell Crowe and starring with him was filmed around Sydney. They had some problems due to a case of covid 19. They were a bit isolated, they were always tested but in the end they made the film.
