i am not sure about that . I think most players start with deposit , but then some of them decide to try freerolls or other ways to earn some more money for their bankroll , earn free tickets or use cheap ways to play higher buy in events .
Personally i had many fails with my deposits , i was depositing every single day at the beginning , then i started gradually to search for other ways to earn $$$ , i found out about my first deposit bonus (and i claimed it) , VIP rewards which i claimed , then i found freerolls . If the freerolls werent there , i think i might have abandoned poker , cause when i began i didnt know much , plus i had many losses .
anayway , the best i9s to start from the low and advance to high if you can . So that means to start from the freerolls , then try nano stakes , then micro buyins , then medium stakes etc etc that way you control; losses . If you do not control losses , if you dont have bankroll management , the fun of the game will be lost for sure .

I deposit when i'm lucky to win something and withraw. We can't always play only for free. For example, if I'm lucky and withdraw a few hundred dollars, i withdraw and deposit 20 $ in few places where i play. I enjoy the rest of them.

Bluffing in the nano or micro stakes and of course in the freerolls has no good results , I think it's ineffective , the others call ATC , even with Queen high , lol , it's unbelievable the hands that the others call with at the micro stakes . Ofcourse it's not the same risk of money , the buy ins are different , it's logical to call widely and in a looser way when your investment is 1$ or 11$ than when it's 100$ or 1000$ . The higher stakes players can have better results with their bluffs I think .

Why to make deposit on 888poker as 18 year old, when you have 88 dollars of no deposit offer! Most of young people in that age are in school, so dont think that they have lot of money for deposits!

Very good tips !!! But very hard to practicing, lol. Tilt, focus is big problem for me, especially when got card dead for a long time ( most of the time suddenly got AA or other premium hand, go all in with poor stack and lost ) . Is strategi work ? , just sometimes in lucky day, I think.
