I have been playing poker for about two years now but heavily for the last 6 months lost about 70 pound before i started making a profit. until two weeks ago . i had got my bankroll up to £900 and in two days lost it all i think i was chasing and playing above myself. i was just wondering what you have lost in a day or two?

Probably a free bankroll of 20 bucks, Ill say in the low bankrolls 100 or less dollars, if you lose in a day 20% of your BR, quit playing. In the large BRs like 1000 dollars if you lose 10-20% quit for that day!
I've also lost big money in 1 or 2 days & it's how you learned and do your best to avoid it in future. £900 is a very big one though. Good luck for next time.

idd i lost a roll of almost $ 2000 in 12 hour of badplays and badbeats, i played well above my limit, was playin 5/10/ and 10 20 no limit, but that wont happen i hope, because now i use proper bankroll management.
In one day or to be presis two hours, I lost 150$ in a session. To be more presis I was up 50$ so the loss was 200$ from the top. The following week I totaly lost 350$ (20% of my bankroll) and I moved down a limit.
It is importen not to try to win it back by moving up the limits! Stick to Bankrollmanagment.

i lost around 350 $ in few hours ... the problem is that after some bad beats i start to become frustrated and this is never good in cash games ... but on the other hand i won the same amount also in few hours ... i guess it is better to quit when person is in a bad run and keep on playing when person is in a good run ... sometimes the cards come so easy and sometimes you have to be happy when you see a bit of a playable card .

800$ bad runs and some monkey business nothing special it's 4-8 BI's at the level I play. I try to stop when im 5BI's down. Because even when you feel that you aren't tilted you are still not playing A-game due to the beatings you took so I believe you get more out of your money by taking a break and continueing next day.
I got 1 and only 1 real tilt session on my conscience. Some years ago I blew my NL25 bankroll after an arguement with my girlfriend so stupid, it was something like 600-700$ right out the window in little under 2 hours MONKEY TILT Some of us learned the hard way

$50 played 2 tables and drunk a glas wine. everything been fine i even won some money. then i started playin 4 tables, drunk more and felt invincible...untill i lost control of my game and the tables.
typical example of dont drink and play! you learn through mistakes but this one wasnt necessary...

well most i have lost in 2 days is probably around £9000. most i have lost in 1 hand is £3500 to 4 of a kind i hold 99 flop comes 966 i raise and then i get reraised everyone else around the table folds i call turn comes 2 i raise again player reraises me allin for a further 1700 so a instant call by me, turn was a 4, player shows 66, i think thats was one of the worst beats i have had. so i left the table took dogs out for a walk came back made a coffee then started playing again and went up £10000 that night.if i didnt take a break after that beat the outcome would of been alot worse. but due the hard times with familiy etc. had to cash out every penny i think it was around 50k. but were i took so much time off playing poker im finding it hard to get back the way i used to play which was a very strong game, but hopefully i should be back soon

Once I lost 1800$..OMG This is a bad experience. But I won that money in 3-4 days of playing. So easy come easy go. Now I try to reach that bankroll with correct management.
