"good" is very relative. i enjoyed my time at VC (they had a very soft no deposit bonusbonus and a lot of small freerolls for in between) and appreciate full tilt for the wide range of games they offer.
party poker has a good support id say; even tho i never had an serious issue with them so far.
for beginners ipoker is for sure a good choice. CD has some very nice promotions each now and then i think.

for me party poker is the best for promotions and freerolls. Thats where I started, where I learned how to play online poker. but in my opinion the software is mostly annoying. there are so many things that wind me up on party; the size of the tables, the way they pop up, it doesn't show the cards in an all in situation, it doesn't show you clearly what rake they take (probly cos its huge) and it keeps bringing up internet pages for no reason just to name a few.
CD poker is good but support is annoying and they nag you all the time about making a deposit. plus they don't give you enough variety of tournaments in my opinion.
the best software for me on the whole is fulltilt. the only thing I don't like is the bet slider. support is good as far as I'm aware and the variety of tourneys is good. their sngs are particularly good and run all the time.

I voted for Full Tilt. Only bad side is that tournaments could begin hour or two earlier, they are a little of late now. I played yesterday 1am and later. And didnt even play till end, then it would took close to 2am.

About tables popping up, iPoker, like CDpoker and Mansion, are the worst of all sites for that problem! Even after you fold in a hand that's still ongoing, it STILL pops up on next round of betting - why???? I wish they'd update their software AGAIN to include a 'do not pop up on turn' option.

I starting to like PokerStars, maybe because they now have Sit&Gos of my style "double or nothing" I've never deposited money there & and is looking forward to that "deposit $50 and get $50 free"

Party are good for giving freebies, I started there with a $50 bonus , I blew it playing rebuy mtts, but that was a long time ago. I never deposited once and since then , every now and then, they send me free money to play with to try get me back playing. I guess they hope I will start depositing and lose it all - Nope, I'll just wait for more freebies. Got about $200 free over about a year and a half without depositing.
