I think its a good change . It stimulates people to post a longer one or with more quality as bradley said. But on bradleys first post its says 154 chars. Why??

that must be because he edited his post, anyways, isn't 100 a bit too steep admin? at this rate, i might not be able to reach the required points to cashout.

Yeah it's because he edited his post, but that doesn't award points anyway. Then people will just start editing all their posts. Besides, 10 points is so little that there really shouldn't be a reason for people to use them to cashout with.
