Was this game limit then? I was wondering why he was only making stupid tiny bets. I never play limit for the same reason. How do you bluff off the drawers?
Of course you had the two and A card to hit from the flop. As I say I don't play limit so I'm not sure not what hands you should be calling with but the impression I get with limit is if your consistent you'll catch enough cards to win.
his chat was stupid. He should of just remained calm. He can't think its riling you up by calling you an idiot or telling you you played it badly when you won the hand. And if "people like you" usually pay him off he shouldn't be complaining if your one of the few who suck out. Its better for him in the long run.
But in general I like chat in online poker. I like the social-ness of live poker games so I think it should continue online. Even when we suffer bad beats most of us can remain civilised and say nice hand. I think its polite to say nh and ty online and I generally disapprove of those who refuse to chat.

you should ask any pro wich game to start with and he will tell you limit holdem say what you want guys but all the great no limit holdem players started with limit holdem just because you can realy learn that naked agresiveness no limit is much more a cautious and trapping game while limit is a raise 3-bet 4- bet checkraise game and you learn the value of a hand because like you say how can you get out the drawers think about it this way when he hits the flush on you you will only loose a couple of bets more while in no limit when you got that over pair and the flop is all baby cards the money is gonna go all in

Mhh. You should have a thought about the hand of your opponent first. Does he goes bananas with A6 on a 6 high flop? If not, what hand is he be willing to put a lot money in.

Well in fairness you did suck out, but he made bad bets IMO, and 3456 by the turn and he bets you just call, the whole hand kinda smacks. Im gonna go on a lim and say you 2 are now buddys :}
Maybe you didn't play a grat hand: in my opinion you werw a bit lucky. It's obvious you were brave too to follow this hand til show dawn but there were lot of risks you had worst hand. Any way I don't like people which use chat just to insult others
