If I could play live at FR whenever I wanted then id vote live, more fun and its actualy poker, online is more of a math game, a lot more conveniant with better choice. but if they were both the same in ability to get the righ game id play live always. Live

I preferr online poker because it makes things much easier (Chip count, Betting, organizing,AND multitabling) and the ability to use irregular bet patterns Like a 12867 bet on a 5K/10K final table.
When you said that live had the pros that you can read players, thats not a pro; it is the same conditions for all players.

My choice is for online poker for several reason: multitabling, more infos available, quicker playing, and more of all to play online you just have to switch on your pc instead for live poker is very different.
I prefer live events but unfortunately I don't have too many chances to play.
Online poker is sth completely different. It gives everybody a chance to play anyday, anytime... This market will definitely grow over a few next years.

The both have advantages and disadvantages. In a online table u play twice as many hands as in a live table and u don't have 2 b rude and ask for timer online because it's automatically there. You can play more tables online so u don't get bored as easily. Online u can find a game anytime of the day playing ppl from all around the world and you can choose from stakes as low as 0.01/0.02NL up to 200$/400$NL+. The amount of ppl that play in tournaments can't b compared to live tournaments which is limited most of the times because of how many tables the casino can use. But in Live poker there is the fact of tells that u can't c online, ppl that u can't c online, ect. The thrill if staring into ur opponents eyes to make a call or fold. Playing with chips ect.

Live whether its cash or tourney, you just can't beat em. There's just a whole different vibe to everyones table image you can't really create online. Not to mention the tilt factor, so much easier to tilt for starting players online, even more experienced, happens to everyone once in a while, but live its way harder for me to go on tilt, only rarely happens. mayb its just me.
Posted by MANUEDO: Online because I have more chances to play, for the numbers of tables and players. It's like a plug and play. But I have to admit live tournaments are more exciting
Unbelieveble. This post is still working after almost 6 months... Bythe way I still prefer online like 6 months ago
I love playing live, but its quite troublesome for me to find the time to get out to the tables often & have one of those 5 hour sessions at the cash tables... but still nothing beats the thrill of playing a live tourney. But still, i love the speed & multitabling of online poker, the amount of hands & situations i'll be in i find my game getting stronger all the time so when i do get down to the live games i feel solid aswell as really enjoying it so im split... but maybe online cuz of accessebility

It's really hard to put it like that. I mena, everyone has their advantages and their disadavantages. It's cool to play with a real stack and have ur opponents in front of you but it also sucks to play a hand for whole 5 min =p Online I usually play 5 tables at the same time which is less boring
I wish to try play live, but yet I have no such possibility, therefore it is difficult to me to result arguments in favour of it. But it seems to me to play live much more cheerfully and more interestingly, after all there is a possibility to observe of contenders, to see as they react to various game situations behind a table!
