Posted by B1gfoot: OK, yesterday i flop the nuts, KJ to flop AQ10, all is well Im thinking got cha as he raises , both all in before turn. Then come A 7, vilian shows 10 10. So what do you do when you flop the nuts, 9/10 lose LOL, joking it depends on the table and position, play normall ish, if you would normally bet out do so etc, I say get you chips in as soon as you can.(depending) So take a little lesson from me floping the nuts does not mean you win the hand, if you check check blar blar you open yourself up to a BB.
Depending on the pre flop action the problem you got there is that after the flop the other guy is going nowhere whatever you do whenever you do it You just got unlucky
In supernoob's case what you gotta think about is what are they all limping in with and whether a flop bet is gonna get rid of them In this case i think its better to see what happens around the table before committing yourself

Posted by Fakiry: The best thing to do,if it is really nuts (sometimes people think they have nuts and they dont), is to check. Let others bet and raise, if the victory is yours for sure, you just have to let your oponents make the bets they want. If you bet and you put pressure on them, perhaps they can imagine what you have and fold, leaving you with a smaller pot.
Nuts on the flop may not be nuts on the turn or river...

Minimal bet or check for me it is the correct option in this hand. Because you have a secure hand and you want to have the most chips as is possible! With a check or a minimal bet you can win against any hand and you can invite other players to make bluff!

I'm always betting the flop, as with any flop i hit and I'm doing so to see where I am, I'm getting called by possibly top pair and rarely by someone with the Kh therefore I'm getting raised by a set or smaller flush. Q2, Q6 and 26 are insta folds in anyones book, suited or not so I don't think two pair is something you're likely to be against, bb maybe. I'm not really a fan of pushing on the flop I want maximum pay outs for my big hands so generally bet for value. I should lose top pair on the turn with a potish bet and if I have to fold to a paired board, it's only going to be by a push that covers me and has me absolutely convinced they've started out with pocket 2's or 6's and hit a set on the flop. No ones going to have limped with QQ, well at least not a huge percentage of the time. KQ, QJ and Q10 are likely hands you're up against so i'd need to consider that if another Q comes off I should hope fully be ahead and may consider a push.
Checking is lame, if 2 of the field push then you have to gamble for all of your chips regardless of having the nuts on the flop (insert bad beat storey here). I don't think stack size comes into play if 3 are average stacked and one is large as you're pretty much covered for most of your chips.
So I'd lead out every street, make a tough decision should my spiderpig senses tingle.

Rainbow board against LAG = check call for pot control Rainbow board against TAG = check raise.
posible outdrawns = Bet bet bet. Pretedn U don't have the nuts. works more then flatcalling ( since flat calling is a sign of strength imho)
Turn is a blank? => valuebet or check raise. Paired the board? => jjust valuebet and think twice if he reraises U. River = could be a higher straight or backoorFD. => valuebet / check.
All depends of table imho, and player stats. OR might Cbet to U anyway.
Just don't get too crazy having the nuts postflop
Just do some potbuilding to extract most + don't shove insta coz U might have to fold on the river. Minimal loss vs Maximum winnings.
It depends on the position you are playing... But I would bet half a pot because it can scare someone who could take a full house on the turn or the river...
