I would bet on other big names besides this guys, because they have a lot of respected sponsors behind them. Of course, everything can end up one day, and sponsors can go away, and the player can continue playing to see if he recovers and can end up loosing everything without support, but not to theses names on the poll (i think)...

You and me will, but a pro won't. Pretty simple:
Name a lottery pro. Name a big name poker pro that went bust. Multiple answer ?, so name more than 1. Chances an unknown wins the WSOP main event....
Well Gus has gone broke before and apparently Doyle lent him $4M - which was quickly repaid. Do a google for more info.
Top pros do go broke but over time they usually learn how to stick to good bank roll management.
Not many of the top pros play the very highest stakes - for many of them, if they did they would go broke. It's no good being the 10th best in the world and only playing the top 9 players. This is where I believe Gus is.
Going broke is a real concern for every poker player - It doesn't matter how good you are or if your an established pro. If your losing more than your earning then you will go broke.
