U rarely get people of AK these days.
Where is the problem? You open with AK, two players call and some smallstack pushes over it. One would need a VERY good read to fold here.
AK shud be an easy fold in lots of situations. not against SS obv, but in general. How many times ur KK , QQ or JJ gets raped by it ? They just never lay it down fook sake

Well id have to explain a fair bit, but in short I expected seat 4 to do a min raise, probably 1st time he hadent in some while LOL. Nothing to do with shorty I was playing seat 4, but it went wrong. His re-raise on flop was nothing new either, expected it reguardless, then im commited.

i called a double big blind in late position with 3 4 suited.
the raiser (small blind) had AA and the flop shows 256 rainbow. I check and he raises the pot, i reraise and he's all in. i instant call and here we go:
Flop: 256 turn: 5s river: 5h and boom! there goes my money.. but no whining, cause the probability is there - cant deny that.

Posted by fikrem: 3 4 suited my friend and the small blind raised double big blind? you wouldnt have called just to see a flop??
My bad...
But I always read posts crosswards
Coz When I read : I called a double big blind in late position... It would make more sense if U say : I called the miniraise of the SB whilst I am in the BBlind.
I assume ur in BB then? coz blinds are the last to act...

I feel for you doomdy but it aint the worst of beats. As you play more and more hands these kind of beats become standard imho. you'll eventually learn to shrug them off. obv spending $90 on a rebuy tourny with no roi is a bar steward but these things happen. The amount you spent on the tourny is more of a fck off than the actual beat.

I feel sorry for ya doomdy but this is what poker is all about bad beats and great winnings Next time you will kik that guy´s ass if you just keep that solid poker up!
That hand has one of the steepest Win % droppages you can see without an opponent drawing dead. You were 78-21 favourite preflop (approx i think) 75-25 on the flop then like 4-96 underdog come the turn.
Meh, you put your money in wit the best hand, so you done right by me.
