What do you think:
A gambling tycoon has been accused of paying a £100,000 'thank you' to Labour after his firm benefited from the controversial decision to relax the betting laws. Peter Coates made the donation after online casinos, bookmakers and betting websites were allowed to advertise on TV.

Money talks.... Nothing will come of it as it will been seen as a donation. His own tax bill per year way exceeds this, so Id guess it 100k on the table 200K under. ATM UK TV is flooded with adverts for us to play/gamble, the govenment see the money involved and want a slice. They will mess the whole system up by tax on winnings then here we will go underground or stop, then casinos etc will lose out from govenment greed. Thats how the govenment work, got to keep Mr Rich happy, or there party collapses, no funds and then we might end up in a situation were we have more than 2-3 parties running.
