How many hands do u play at a ring game before u leave and say I am just not getting anything worth playing and all I am doing here is giving away money to the blinds? U might have one hand at the start of the table and win a small pot, but then sit there and give it back in blinds do to the fact u can't even get any decent starting hands. Just thought some imput might help out others if they are trying to find a tables worth staying at to play. Me, I ususally will give it 20 hands to see what I am getting dealt (or go thru the blinds twice), check out the players and how they are playing. Then I will decide if I want to stay and see if the slump passes or gets better. If I am getting decent cards then I stay another 20 (or two more rounds of blinds) just to see what happens. Thanks everyone for the input and good luck at the tables

The luck of the cards is only a small factor weather I stay or go, normally with cash games ill set up a few tables and stay at the one that suits me best.

Well, doesn't it all depend on wether you have a winning streak or not? And on the the other players at that table? Sometimes i just fold like 80 hands in a row due to bad cards and pre-flop raises, other days i play 50 % of the hands when even bad cards turn out to be winners and people play so tight I can put them off their hand with 7-2 off
