Have U tried it in IE or Firefox? try both anyway.
ELse It could be your firewall but I highly doubt that.
Its strange your file dissapears at 407kb.
U get a warning message at that point? or an error message?

Try to turn of for a second your firewalls / scanners?

If not, I have no clue coz this is a rare issue. I never met or read about having problems PPoker installed.

Can't install it too. What you did was to unistall ur antivirus, then install party poker n after it installin the antivirus again??

I would suggest NOT to unistall the antivirus, almost all antivirus software gives you the option to create a exception list.

You can simply add the PP install kit in that list and it should work, if it's not working turn off the firewall and try again.

This, a hundred times. I use the latest NOD32 AV with Comodo firewall (I had the NOD av+firewall combo at one time - named Smart Security - but I hated that software with passion) and it allows you to put the poker softwares which are give you false positives on an exception list.
But going for more, it allows you to turn off the different program modules (5-10-20 minutes and so on) which might gave you an edge, to not have to uninstall and install the av software again anytime you got problems with how its behave with certain things you know for sure are not a threat.
